Krystals.. you could be onto something- I was thirsty when I woke up- I did 40 mins on the bike just before bed, and even though I did drink a whole 750ml bottle of water afterwards, I was probably still a bit dehydrated. I weighed myself before I had anything to drink. Also AF is a tad weird at the moment, I got the Mirena put in a few months ago and I went a whole month with no spotting, but the last few months I have had weird spotting all the through the month, and when AF does come its really light and weird (although all normal for the merina) and to be honest I'm not even really sure if it ever IS AF or just more weird spotting... BUT (to get to the point) yesterday and today I started spotting and I have had AF like niggly cramps.. so there night be something there too!!
Im not letting it get to me, I just ignore the scales on days like today.. I just pretend I never hopped on and I am still the weight I was last time I lookedI dont know if thats cheating or not lol but hey!!!
Works for me!!
Sterla Yippee on finaly getting your new pram!!!! And for being fitter than you thought!!! Thats great!!!Enjoy!!!!
Great news Sterla! I hope you enjoy lots of walks with your new pram!
Mildez, I'll be so interested to see how you go on the 12wbt, I thought about it, but just can't afford it at present. Will have to wait... I'll be stalking your results! LOL
AFM, I was a good girl at the food court today, it kinda helps having DS with me, as I have to share all my food with him (I don't really get a choice HAHA) So it forces me to choose food I'd be happy with him eating. We had a salad sandwich with extra cucumber (ooohhhh cucumber keeps him occupied for AAAGGGGES!) on rye bread and a cup of tea. I'm glad I got the sandwich actually, as I was so hungry from not having brekky that I needed a big meal! (The sandwich shop makes them REALLY BIG).
I also stuck to the shopping list!! Unfortunately the list included chips and chocolate for hubby.... so I bought flavours of chips I know he likes, but I don'tThe chocolate... well... we'll see how I go xx
Sterla that is ace hun! What pram did you get? ( I might have missed that bit!)
Mildez - Hooray for Michelle Bridges!!! Sounds really great hun!
SB - I do a bit of that with the scales too!! Heehee! I weighed today even though tomorrow is my official day and am going to reweigh tomorrowThat toast I ate pre-weigh in has to count for something surely?!
krystals - Yay for the yummy sandwich! and with the chocolate - just tell yourself you will have 3 blocks and savour every mouthful! I am a strong believer in moderation - my problem is just moderating!!!!!
I just got back from a run and I ran 15 mins non-stop!!I do C25K and today I ran through all my walks! 3 kms in 25 mins! That is a record for me and so proud that I didn't walk most of it like I usually do! loads of crunches when I got home and will do my yoga tonight! yes!!
subbing - don't have time for a long post...
But Tan - YAY for running!
3LM - not annoying, I thought that was well said!
AFM, had some treats out for dinner last night and then OMG craving bad stuff today! Isn't it awful how you have one treat, and it just makes you want more? So just been for a walk. We've all STILL got coldswhich seems crazy cos i'm eating so well, lotsa yummy veggies & nice fresh fruit. Ah well, fingers crossed stoopid cold will go soon. I felt better yesterday so ran 3km, then had a sore throat again last night
. Got some compliments from folks I hadn't seen for a while, so that was nice. Plus wore a skirt that hasn't fitted for oooh about 6 years. Noice. Figure I have to up the motivation as my bras are getting too loose again and it is impossible to find a 10E at the dept store! And I refuse to pay big bikkies for a new mat bra until I'm at final weight. (and hopefully a cup size less hahahaha).
Belifie- I hear you on the bras- I'm the same size as you, and on the last hole of my mat brasThey're good ones, so I'll get every last day of use out of them! Otherwise It's good old bonds feeding singlets. I love them! I'm back in my pre-preg running bras, so that's a plus! Go you on the compliments!!! I bet it was such a nice feeling!
Tanstar!!! You're rocking!!! I smiled large when I saw your post, you seem so motivated!! GO YOU!!!!! (oh, and I'll try and stick to my 3 squares rule LOL).
Hi girls - new thread again! I haven't posted for a while, been busy censusing and what not. Have managed to stay on the wagon even though there's been a bit of indulging in the recent weeks, all the walking seems to have balanced that out!
Don't give up everyone, we can do it! Well done to you all who have reached your goals - and are reaching your goals. Don't forget, when the scales go up a bit sometimes, that can be hormonal too - we retain more fluid at certain parts of our cycle. The tape measure is a better judge of how you are going.
My updated figures - weighed and measured today 10 weeks (and 2 days for the weighing) since I measured the first time. I've lost 7.6kg and 12cm off tummy, 5cm off bust (of course!), 10.5cm off hip and 12cm off thighs. I am really happy and want to encourage everyone, you can do it too!!!
I've about 3.5kg to go I think - 73kg is my aim at the moment.
Ausgirl - great status hun! That is AWESOME!! I think you are right about the tape!!
I have about the same to lose, I have just updated my ticker and I think if I can hit the elusive 60 kgs I will be happy. I have hovered around here I am at for a long time so need to break this barrier!!
