ZF - wow great weight loss

Mak - how are your early morning walks going?

3LM - know those days very well, hope today and tomorrow are better days for you

Belfie - great loss for your DH. You are doing so well not eating just because friends are over. That can be a really killer I find

How is everyone else going?? (Sorry only went back a few posts)

AFM- got to admit I do struggle to spread myself across multiple support areas (this thread, FTS on FB, along with the Million kilo page). So please excuse me if sometime I don't do personals or miss someone.
Of course yesterday was a complete write off. Not too bad with food during the day, but the evening, well was bad. Very good food at the BBQ, some really great salads (so I went back for seconds of those) and fab desserts. Lots and lots of cream. Of course there was alcohol as well

Something must be happening in me though, I did feel quite stuffed quite quickly. Last year I could have eaten a lot more, last night no way. Have been noticing it the past few months, that I really cannot eat the same quantity of food as in the past, so why am I putting on weight??? (well I have not weighed in a little while, but last weigh in I had.

Not going to beat myself up over yesterdays food (my tummy is punishing me enough ), just really looking forward to the starting the Million Kilo challenge.

Astrid I know what you mean. I was starting to wonder if I was on everyones block list as I only had one person welcome me to this thread but hey BB isn't just about 'me' lol and it is hard to keep up especially when there's lots of posts. I am really keen to loose some weight though and I do really need the support of others on the same path so I'm going to jump over to another forum which is specifically for weight loss and can get the support I need.

Best of luck to everyone in the million kg challenge!

This thread is a funny one at times, sometimes it's SO busy and we will go through a few pages within 24 hours and at other times people just pop in and out almost like a diary entry for themselves I guess. Are you using MFP there are some great motivational threads on there. xoxox

Astrid - I found that too last time, that all of a sudden I will full quicker, like my stomach had shrunk a bit and the feeling of hunger that I had ALL the time disappeared.

ZF - You go girl! Just goes to show all that work and making time to exercise, cutting junk DOES work!! Keep it up hun! I find it easy to exercise with this weather too - love summer!

3LM - Hang in there hun, and don't beat yourself up. Try and do at least ONE thing today, whether it is replace one meal with a healthy one, increase your water and exercise. That way you have something positive to focus on rather than all the stuff you didn't do ITMS?

Mak - Hope you find a way to gym it up today! I think a change overall is the way to go - I am still working on the healthy side for both me and kids and replacing habit food with better food!

Bel - I know what you mean about the been there done that!! It's not easy, just because we have done it before, and part of mine is being plain old lazy at times when I am really hungry and turn to my comfort foods instead of choosing healthy options. Hope you had a good day yesterday and a better one today!

Hangover city today - don't even want to think about what I ate yesterday (and can't really remember ) but will be walking/running at some point today. I really find it I tell myself I AM going to do xyz it's better than, should I go for walk? Should I wait? etc. as then I can decide to not go, but this way I make the commitment that I have to go ITMS.

sorry no personals today i have a clingy bubba stuck on me adn i wanted to get online b4 my internet dropped out.

No water in my st but my town is pretty floooded. it went down yest but it has started rainin heavy again last night so i think it will go back up again.
Since our fridge and freezer died i have been tryin to eat healthy but it is hard cause there is only so much i can fit in the little fridge and freezer until the big one gets fixed.

Had a bit of a blow out with some bickies last night. Damn DH was complaining about being hungry after tea and after he went off to study i had it stuck in my head so ate heaps

weighing myself every thurs at the mo. was doing it every few days so have to stop that lol

Went to the gym this morning got 25min in then came home and did another 10min on the bike at home. I have a bit of a tickle in my throat and feel a bit flemy so it felt like i could hardly breathe while tryin to exercise this morning.

Thanks Tanstar, I know what you mean, a couple years back the weight loss thread had been dead for months and I revived it by asking all of my BB friends who wanted to loose weight to please come and join me here, and it's been alive ever since I too am guilty of using it for a quick 'diary' post and it's great to have somewhere to keep you in check whilst on the weight loss path, however I give so much in support for others and personals that I kind of feel a bit let down if I am ignored in return iykwim. I do understand what it's like for everyone though, I mean life is busy and as I said it's not all about me! but I do choose to give my support to a forum/thread where the support is mutual. So I'm heading over to Calorie King, cause I know those calorie counters are one committed and supportive bunch! I have calorie counted a few times with great results in the past. Whilst I'm not being that strict this time I feel it's the way to go for me at the moment.

ZF I love to be able to check BB on my phone but it's a pain really, I make loads of typos and it takes ages to scroll through everything! So happy I've got a new laptop now

    We're baaaccckkkk!!

JBM - Hope your tooth is feeling better hun xoxox How are you going with your little one?! Is he b'fed? I can't remember, don't stress too much about your diet right now just lots of veggies and fruit while you are sleep deprived and still recovering really!

Cherished - How are you going? How are you finding CK? I use MFP and am going back to tracking religiously - have been really slack but I need to keep doing it.

Sassy - How are you going hun?? Hope the water has subsided a bit - how scary. As for the blowout just keep at it - yay for your exercise though, sounds great hun and making it a habit is the best thing you can do.

ZF - how are you hun? Keeping cool with your poppets today? Bloomin' hot out there! I just hung out some washing and it's boiling! I have been sitting inside with the ac on though all day!

Astrid - How are you hun? How are you going with everything? I blew out on Oz day AND yesterday but Im not going to beat myself up (we had Crust pizza for dinner and I inhaled 3 sides before I even realised it )

Sopdet and anyone else I have missed!

AFM - After a shocking few days (can we see a theme here I am being good today! Went for a long run/walk this morning - up to week 5 of my C25K - and OMG - 5 and 6 min runs with only a 1 min walk in between I nearly died and I went before 9 and it was already so hot! I also made a yummy veggie packed fritatta which I am going to make again and take it to school for lunch. Uber yum and healthy. I added a bit of bacon which is probably a bit naughty but I figured the few bits in it were ok - it was also my breakfast AND lunch.

Heading for a healthy dinner - thinking some salmon and veggies, so hot I CBF making anything that will heat up the house too much.
Hope you are all having a great Saturday!! Talk soon!

wow - being accused of not being supportive. No-one owns a thread a thread like this, had no idea that you revived it Cherished and was not aware that we owed you specific thanks.

We all do what we can. Sometimes we give support, other times we take. All swings and roundabouts. Sometimes we give in one thread, but take in another. Are we meant to keep a score card of who gives us support and who we support in return?

JBM - wow that sounds ouchie!

Tanstar - good work with the running. Something I am not going to attempt at this moment.

AF. Doing well. Really looking for to starting the 1 Million Kilo challenge. Have been going over the meal plans, recipes and reading the forums (which are now open). Embracing it as much as I can and am even going to eat as many of the foods as I can (well maybe not mango and olives Apparently it is quite balanced and unless you have an allergy, you are mean to eat what they put on the menu plan.

No traditional excise today, but lots of movement due to doing up the girls rooms. Half the house got a full on vaccum, then a go over with a carpet shampooer. Walls have been scrubbed, lots of things carried. So I think that makes for some pretty good physical activity.

Oh - I was super good. DH wanted Maccas. So I got the sweet chilli wrap with a salad!!! Yes, I passed up on having fries and did not miss them

Astrid - I agree, my BB group has always been the same but I think we all know we are here for each other, are committed to our own goals and are supportive of each other's journeys. This is a general support thread after all.

Have you found the meal plans really light on?? Maybe I am so used to eating big meals and lots of carbs that when I had a look at the meal plan I thought I would be starving on it! Am going to try and print it off though as well as the My Special K one to give me ideas of what to eat even if I don't stick closely to it ITMS? I am a grazer in the arvos. Just had some Bhuja Nut Mix - omg big mistake as 1/4 cup was about 600 cals - there goes that old thing of better track BEFORE eating. Yay for getting the girls room done! Sounds great - I am off to vacuum and tidy before mine come back from my mums. oxoxo

Not so far. I think with the vegetables you can pretty much eat what you need to at meals. I am used to lowish carb, have done so in the past and have always done well that way. The killer for me will be low fat, as I am not into low fat dairy, but I will do what I can for the challenge. Just means I will need to buy low fat milk, we get ours raw and it is quite high in fat.

So, I'm guilty of this update and run biz... So...

Seeing as I can't do persies most of the time I'm unsubing to this thread.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to give support in the form of persies as I'm hardly on the computer.

Good luck with your weight loss journey everyone.

LysnDan - babe don't go, you have a lot going on, no one expects personals all the time, if they do I'm out because I use my phone the most and can't write to everyone.

We are here to support and help you hun!

    Hi everyone!
Sounds lik everyone is doing really well, no luck on the weight loss front here for me. Jumped on the scales at work yesterday to see I had gained 2kg - not great for motivation really but I guess it may takes some time to show up for me. I can hope for a massive loss after eating well for a week but the reality is clearly not that My flabbt bits are a little firmer, clothes fitting a bit better and I am definitely fitter so I guess it will all come together in time.
I didn't manage the gym yesterday but did walk before work. I really struggle with work days to fit everything in as well as spending time with the kids/feeding Dh etc. Plus I am usually tired anyway as my girls have a chronic sleep allergy. On the upside - avoided tearoom treats and ate a yummy lentil salad from home. Water is not so great so hoping to push that one this week.
Tanstar -dinner sounds fab (as did the idea of Crust lol) and well done on the the running! I can only manage 2 blocks jogging and 1 walking atm. I went at 8am and it was stinky already.
JBM - hope your teeth settle soon - it is not much fun!
Astrid - I too struggle with time to post and worry I may forget some one so tend not to do specific replies. Definitely struggling with some changes and really get put off when we have visitors/catchups, as I love all the yummy entertaining food. Well done for stoppign when your tummy told you too - not something I am good at AT ALL! How are you managing with work etc?
Cherished - How are you finding CK?
ZF - I have to say I am very impressed by your loss - keep at it hun! Hope you are feeling better for it.
3LM - Headspace is 120% important for me too. I have had to work on other coping mechansims and it has been an interesting few weeks here. Hope you are being kind to yourself as well and that things are better for you this weekend.
Belfie - I can so relate to your post, gotta get tough here and make the permanent changes so I can get off this silly roundabout of feeling good/bad about myself as I hate it and really I am the same person in the end. Well done to DH too - mine needs to be a bit more conscious of his weight too but is not really in the right spot to do it atm.
Sassy - keep at it, change takes time and persistence over time. xx
Sopdet - How are you travelling?

Apologies if I have missed anyone! xxx

Wow right back at ya Astird. I'm not surprised someone has read into my post in a negative way. Good luck to you and anyone else who is choosing to look at things in a nasty light because I can't be bothered.
