Ooooooh! silly me, of course! (and yes, that gets me that way too)
And I'm sure the men won't mind, cos our men is a man, Mr S, and he strikes me as a very agreeable sort (unless we've got men lurkers )

For the Wii Fitters, I saw something called Dance Revoluation - looked awesome, you know those little dance mat thingos on which you leap about like a chicken. But I haven't followed up to see if it's any good, or if it's avail in Aus yet. Looked like good cardio tho. I've just bought Wii Sports Resort for DH's birthday, so I'll let you guys know if it's any good.
YES!! I saw the dance mat/game available at Clive Anthony's or Peters...(i always get them two mixed up!!) I want it!!!

I get wiegh in at lunch time today... so nervous this week as I know TTOFM is most likely going to effect. Good to know that it balances out in the end though. Its just disheartening to see a gain instead of a loss. I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised though

Goodluck at your weigh in Alibaby... I loooove your Avi btw For me I think the most disheartening things in the world are a gain on the scales and a BFN It really can depend on the time of the month though so try not to be too let down if there is no change or a gain, you are right it does balance out in the long run

Sazzafrazz - The men can suck it up.
I gained 2 full kilos in 2 days the day I got my last AF - lost it in a week - peed like a horse I reckon - must have been hormones causing massive fluid retention.

Damn, I can't remember now what/who I was going to respond to. (sleep-deprived brain) EVERYONE - You're all doing awesome.

AFM - Well 66.6 this morning - Have fluctuated between 66.6 - 67.2 for the last 3 weeks now But have been low the last few days so think I have settled and think this means I am about to break through that plateau. 66 is a terrible plateau for me - I've always found it hard to shift from their, and the second I feel pregnant with DD I shot up to 66 (3 kg in 2 weeks) by 5 weeks without doing anything differently. Therefore I HATE that number with a vengance.

awww thanks Cherished! You are so sweet. I really hope you get a bfp this weekend. Will be thinking of you.

Well I actually lost 600g!! I will take that! Thats now 5.7Kg lost in 4 weeks. Still lots to lose but its nice to have a dent in it esp as I have been bad this week.

I have made the improvement of not eating after dinner though and having tea instead so maybe that has helped.

Emmasn- how annoying your gym scales were wrong! My home ones are wrong as well so I dont use them anymore.

Sas85- You are doing so well. Not much more to go. I find maintaining the hardest but am hoping WW will help with that although I am along way from maintanence!!

So has anyone still got to be weighed in this week?

Woohoo for the loss Ali!! Thats awesome!

emmasn your gym scales were wrong? Thats so wierd, youd think theyd have good scales! Or are they trying to make everyone think they are heavier then hey really are so they keep working out!!

sas what is your goal weight? Actually what is everyones goal weight? Hehe just curious.

I have a QUESTION when noting how much rice you eat is the measurement before or after cooking? Thanks in advance hehe

At WW they say after cooking as that is what you are actually eating.

I asked that last meeting about a different food.

Emma - Hey, I'm 4 months ahead of you so you'd think there'd be more than 2 kg separating us, you're doing better than me.

Ali - 600g is a GREAT loss - more than a kg a week on average thus far for you - that's a big achievement!

Ammaki - 63kg is my goal weight - it's the lightest I've ever been as an adult and it was my weight when I fell pregnant with DD, it's a size 10 (occasionally 12) for me at that weight. Ideally I would like to be 59kg because it would be amazing to have a 5 in front of my weight, I can't even imagine that - I was always slightly chubby kid but when puberty kicked in I ballooned to 85kg when I was 15 .We're starting TTC #2 from Nov/Dec though so if I fall soonish I'll have to leave that goal for another time, but want to be back to my 'smallest' by TTC time.

Cherished - I'm rootin for you too hun - come on BFP

Oooh - who asked about the rice? It really depends - it's easier to count the calories if you measure it before you cook it as once it's all cooked you know how many calories are in it for sure (everyone puts different amounts of water in their rice for eg which would make a difference to the calories of the cooked versions KWIM) So you can just know the total amount int he portion of rice you put on for cooking - and just divide it by what you eat. So if you cook 500Cal worth of rice grains in water and eat half it's 250Cal.

I'm fairly certain my scales are wrong but I always weigh myself in the same spot in the bathroom so my loss is accurate.

Hi everyone. Wow you are all so quick I can't keep up. It is nice to be part of such a motivated bunch.
Well I am not doing too badly this week. I couldn't weigh in on work scales this week (Tuesday) but my home scales were up a little so I put myself up a kg. But I think this week I will be down a bit going by my home scales. On top of my sore ankle though I now have a bit of a tummy bug. Yuk! Oh well I am hopefully getting all of my bad in the one hit and will be healthy for the rest of the year - lol.
    Anyway catch you all tomorrow!

Wow lots of chatter. Well I got on the scales again today and I'm still well down - so I'm thinking it's not a fluke. I'm wondering if it's cos I've just dropped an express? (from 3/day to 2/day). Would that cause me to weigh less already? I'm still getting similar volumes, but the timing is very close - the weight going down and dropping the express.

Have got DH's b'day all sorted for tomorrow - making cake I can't eat, FIL is NOT making yorkshire pudding for me (he makes me a gluten-free one normally), so that's one less temptation, bought DH chocolate that i don't like... I'm setting up for success! Plus we went out for dinner tonight, and I didn't have dessert (had the yummiest steak tho!)

My goal weight is 57kg - that's when I last had a waistline that was in the "less risky" diabetic category (i.e. less than 80cm), so that's what i'm aiming for... dunno if I'll get there before TTC again tho. So I've got about 5.2kg to go. Tbh, if I could get below 60 I'd be hugely massively stoked.

Didn't manage any exercise today (mental busy day) but planning a good walk tomorrow. Hope you all have happy healthy Fridays

    Hi all.

    Yay Ali, great work today

I was wondering about the rice too. LOL at not being able to eat 1cup of uncooked rice... it would be a bit tough on your teeth I reckon (yep it had to be Saz to make the weak joke!)

Goal weight: I'm not really sure as i am soooo far away from it. TO make it to the healthy range would be 67kg but I think I would like to have a bit of breathing room within the healthy range. I will set my goal for WW at 67 so I reach it first and get to maintenance quicker (therefore stop paying quicker) but privately set my real goal at 65 or 64kg. I was 62kg at my lightest in adult life but it didnt stick long so I think that may be too light for me.

Happy that I got out for a power walk on my own tonight. I didnt get a walk yesterday or tuesday (but did play squash tues night).

MUST cut out my evening snacks!!!!! DH goes to bed at 8.30pm for an early start and I am prone to snacking after that. Naughty me!
