YAY thanks for celebrating my victory with me everyone! I'm still so happy about it, and I am sure it will be in the 60's still on Monday

Now for the temptation I am experiencing! my clients have bought me a whole swag of yummy treats in the past and I got some home made scons bought in for me today I havn't eaten them and I'm not going to but gee it's hard to say NO Thanksully they came in today when I'm on such a high from seeing a '6' so I have the strength to say no

Nai it really does suck when you go out shopping for a reward and find nothing! oh well next time you might even need a size smaller

Ginger I agree with Nai, just keep making healthy or healthier choices and you will get there and great tips snugbug

I have been feeling so great that I have even decided to put some colour in my hair next week! It's always been a confidence thing with me that i thought when I loose weight I will go lighter, but I've decided to do it anyway because I am so confident that I will be in the low 60's before I know it! Woohooo "hello" to the new me

    Hi everyone!
Well have been a bit down today. I think because I haven't been able to exercise much. Will be out from soccer for at least one more week. But the good news is I went to physio today and she gave me lots of exercises to strengthen my ankles so I don't do it again - lots of balance exercises seem to be the key. And my foot is feeling good enough for cycling and low impact aerobics just not jogging or soccer yet. Plus will be doing lots of yoga to strengthen up. So I don't think I will see a loss this week but can at least start getting back into it all. So feeling good about that!
    Anyway see you all tomorrow!

    krysalyss, you never know...

I'm still resting this foot of mine... still thinking of myself as being in maintenance mode (so generally making good food choices but not getting hung up on it and letting myself indulge if I'm out with friends)... I wasn't going to weigh-in today, but I did, and you could have knocked me over with a feather. Another kg lost when I'm not eating as strictly as before and not exercising. I don't know HOW, all I know is that it's GONE... 68kg! Now, only 3kg to go before my goal weight!

bw - that's fantastic! I bet it made your day

Krys - That's great that you can get back into some low impact exercise. Maybe the scales will suprise you on weigh in day.

Cherished - well done on getting into the 60's! and yay for you getting your hair coloured.
I was recently at a luncheon and the host told us that we should look and feel good about ourselves today, not when we reach a certain weight. Have fun being lighter - in both ways.

Nai - that's a shame that you couldn't find anything you liked at the shops, but excellent that you have dropped in size!

afm - I've had to break my diet a couple of days this week, but hoping I can balance everything out this weekend. I put on some music and danced around the lounge room for 45 minutes this morning, and worked up a sweat. Hoping to do it again in the morning, so hopefully i'll see another loss on Monday.

    Hi everyone
It's been quiet in here!! Hope you're all doing well

I only lost 100grams last week, but I'm still happy with the loss. I went out to dinner/lunch 3 times that week, and I was sure i was going to put on. I did make sure that I cut back on other meals though, so that may have helped.

I've had to buy some new walking shorts today, because the ones I was wearing were falling down!!! wooohoo. I got some 3/4 bike short style - the tight ones, and I don't have too much muffin top hanging over the top.

anyway, thought I'd share. I'm finding sharing details in this thread a real motivator for me. I really didn't want to report a gain to you guys

It HAS been quiet in here this week - must be the pre xmas challenge?

Jazamum - Way to go on still losing despite being a bit naughty!

I lost 100g this week too, but am going to have to put off losing that last kilo for 8 months or so (Guess I now know WHY I could not shake any weight the last couple of weeks) Might pop back in and lurk on you all still though . Keep me motivated to not put on so much in the first place this time ay.

    Hi Everybody,

I am so sorry to just drop off the face of the earth! I have really missed the support from you guys while I haven't been online. I have been really sick with a flu. I have been really rundown, emotional & all the rest of it & so just to cap it all off I got really sick. Nice! I had to ring my parents in tears to come & watch my girls for me. It was horrible. I felt like I was 12 years old again!

Anyway, I'm on the mend now. My throat still feels as though it's covered in barbed wire, but I'm getting there with it.

ON a brighter note I lost 1.9kg this week! That is a total of 4.2kg now. I know this 1.9 was only because I was so sick & not eating, but I am trying hard this week to maintain that loss, so I'm not expecting a loss this week, but to remain the same would be awesome for me.

Hope you guys are all good & I'll catch up on all the posts very soon!

    Jayne xx

Wow Sas Congratulations!! That seems to be happening a bit in this thread - I hope not to me or I will have a LOT of explaining to do to DP

Good work Jayne - you are doing so well!

I have been playing in the Xmas Challenge thread so I have been a bit MIA but I am now 12.4kg down. I have my 20 year school reunion the week after next so I am going to try and put in a big effort before then!

Oh NAI you are truly inspirational! 12.4kg is a wonderful effort - complete with a 7 month old bubba in tow! Good on you, do you reckon you could go hell for leather & get to the magical 15kg mark? How many more kg's til you're at your goal?

Ha ha! I am still here but haven't got much to report. Will weigh in tomorrow but not sure what I will see. Started back cycling this week and soccer tonight. Ankles held up well with a brace. Hoping to do some aerobics tomorrow, cycle to work on Sunday and then futsal on Monday.
I had a bad first half on the week eating wise but since I started exercising again I have been a lot more motivated to eat well. Plus so much awesome fruit is coming out and I love my fruit! I made a lovely fruit salad with mango, pineapple, apple, pear, kiwi, orange and grapes. So divine!

Krys, you are right - summer is a good motivator as the weather gets better and the fruit is soooo good! I am hanging out for mangoes, nectarines and peaches.

Well I have started doing some work as a swimming teacher and did my first shift of 2.5hours in the pool on Thursday - it is pretty tiring. I also went for a run beforehand (make the most of kids in childcare!) and did 5km in 30:55 so I only have to knock 55second off my time for my goal - woohoo!!!

Nai that is a great running time!

Well I only lost 100g this week. But I am hoping I have lost some fat and gained some muscle. I have lost 1cm around my tummy (the bane of my body) so am stoked about that despite the small loss.
It is so smoky here though with a few fires around. Hope it clears a bit for tomorrow otherwise I won't be cycling in it.
I got a nice comment today from a coworker- always good!
We are having a bit of a luxury dinner tonight as it is our anniversary tomorrow. Not too much bad stuff though - just super yummy steamed dumplings, greens and mushrooms, and some seaweed wrappers, and some mock duck. Sooo yummy! And DH is the best cook.
Anyway see you all tomorrow when we will all be just that little bit thinner. LOL

NAI _ WTG with the running, how awesome! I'm still not up to running in public, especially as well as Banjo is still too young to take out in public places, so I have been doing my rower instead. I got a Wii Active for my birthday but as I have been so ill, I haven't done any exercise in over 2 weeks. I plan on starting back with the exercise tomorrow.

KRYSALYSS _ That's fantastic that people are starting to notice your weight loss. If you have gone back into the pool, you have probably gained some muscle rather than taken a whole pile of kg's off, does that make sense?

Hope all is having a great weekend! It's my weigh in tomorrow & I know my 1.9kg loss last week was mainly fluid from being sick, I really hope to keep that all off, but to be realistic, I think it's better to just hope I didn't go past my previous weigh in, I hope that makes sense?

    Love Jayne x
