Sorry girls. I haven't really been around much lately. We have all been sick with a really bad dose of tonsillitis so I have been either sick or caring for someone who is sick for the past couple of weeks but we are all on the mend now.

I have lost another couple of kg's so a total of 8.2kg lost so far this year. I have hit another goal I set for myself of getting to 73kg and I am now 72.7kg. My next goal is to get to 69kg which was the original long term goal I set for myself. I also did my BMI calculation again this morning and I am now in the normal range which I am so stoked about!!

Zarava - Now that all the easter eggs are gone just try and get back on track hun. Easter is a difficult time when there is chocolate in the house isn't it.

Tellytubby - Yay for being in your 70's. Good for you!

Jas - What an awsome weight loss you have had in 7 weeks!! Well done.

Stevie-anne - Hi and welcome to the thread (sorry it is a bit late lol) How have you been going so far?

Hi to everyone else. How is everyone going?

yeah i have been slack too, that is at getting on BB, not my weight loss. ha ha ha.
i have now lost 7 kg since july last year, it is a slow journey but i am getting there. this year it has been about 1 kg a month loss, so if i keep going at this rate to get to my ideal weight of 78 kg, it'll take me 8 more months.
i got into an old skirt today that i havn't worn for 3 years and that felt good. a skirt that i wore last dec and only just fitted into i tried on today and it is way too big on me!!!!!!!!

this is very exciting for me and helps to keep me motivated.

    woohoo

sorry for no personals, i need to catch up again. chat soon

Hi guys, I am still around, just haven't been posting much. I am still plodding along I'm more than halfway now. BMI is 27.4 and next goal is to get it under 27 and ultimately 23.7 and my goal weight. Hope everyone else is tracking well!

And I've had a name change too, not funkeefrog anymore

    I finally bought batteries hahahahaha
Am scared to get back on the scales though, i know i have not been making the effort i said i was going to... that said DP has realised he needs to loose some weight (he's a very solid bloke) so now HOPEFULLY we can help each other out, he wants to eat lots of salads but it's hard as DD1 doesn't really eat salad and it's coming into the cold weather... god men say the dumbest things sometimes.

Will get on the scales and go from there................. stay tuned

Yay ZF for finally getting batteries for your scales!

I am 15kgs down now, about 5-10 to go depending on how I feel when I get there I suppose. I bought some new jeans and some new tops to reward myself. DP is coming back from overseas in just over a week and he hasn't seen me since I lost the weight so he is going to be very surprised! Now I just have to get him back into shape, he has at least 25kgs to lose

That is awesome TT! I have been keeping DP highly informed of my weight loss journey, pretty much every weigh in and he is pretty proud.

I am almost ashamed to tell people how much I have lost because of the fact that I had so much to lose in the first place

oh i know what you mean... im a bit the same!

DH told me, once i hit the 30kg mark i should put it as my fb status "is 30kg lighter than what i was at the end of theo's pregnancy", but i really dont like that idea... thats a lot of weight. it just kinda admits how morbidly obese i really was

OMG, men just don't get it do they. When I was nearing the end of my pregnancy DP convinced me to weigh myself on the Wii fit board even though I really didn't want to. I weighed 101kg and was horrified. I was so angry at him all day because of course it was his fault and I was happily oblivious before hand. I can laugh about it now, kinda, in a still slightly horrified way

But its all good, look at us now!!

Howdy everyone, have been over at the challenge thread and now i have batteries i am happy to report last Monday i was 102kg now i am 101.3, it's not much but it's better than a gain.
My knee has been playing up and am waiting on blood results (tomorrow) to see if it's Arthritis, even though it's been sore i have been walking the driveway every day with the girls getting kindling or to get the mail, again it's not much but it's better than doing nothing.
Am thinking DP and i should take the girls swimming on sundays, then maybe i can do a few laps and it wont aggravate my knee too much, doubt it will happen though.

How is everyone else, will come do PM's later.. hope your all well.

That's a good loss ZF, if you can keep it up that's 3kg a month, just keep on doing what you're doing

Make it happen if you really want it! You can do it!

I would do it on my own if i could but it's hard with the 2 girls and don't really want DD2 in the public pool just yet... if we both went then i could go in with DD1 for a bit then he could.
He woprks 6/7 days a week and i'm not sure he wants to spend his 1 day off swimming.. but i think we should give it a try once we move.
