I've started taking duromine again. I took some for approx a month last year and failed to get the repeat filled as it was costing too much that i just couldn't afford. Yes i lost approx 6 kilos on it in a months and i only put a 3 kilos back on but that was my own fault. I overate during the Christmas break and food was being prepared for me.
So i went and got the script filled again 40mg tablets and am on my second day of them. Yes i have had the dry mouth and feeling very happy and relaxed. I have always been a night owl so staying up was never an issue. However, since starting this again I am wide awake at 1.55am. I actually don't mind because i am studying at uni (mature aged student) and stay up late to do my assignments, so I'm not actually fazed by sleepless nights.
I am a single mum to two young children and i want to be able to run after them and feel good about myself. My friends and family have been very supportive and encouraging.
I would thoroughly recommend Duromine as long as you fall within the guidelines of those that should/could take it. My doctor is very supportive and i have known him for about 16 years. He would never put my life at risk if he thought it was dangerous.
I would recommend also that you should read ALL the information that is enclosed with the tablets before taking them. Look for any of the side effects and get it checked.
I will admit though, I am not as stressed as i usually am. Bringing up children on your own can sometimes make you stressed but I couldn't be happier with my babies.
Good luck to everybody taking it. It is a lifestyle change also. Train yourself to eat properely as you dont want to put the weight back on after spending all the money.![]()
