    WHooooooHoooooo!!! WTG MAz

    That's a great effort!

I'm sure the girls will help you out tomorrow to stay on track. Just don't hang out anywhere near the food table and give yourself one 'treat' food you can have. Focus on the company. Have something healthy right before you walk in there like a yoghurt or something so you're not starving.

    Enjoy the meet up!

    Maz,

just remember that not tucking in at 'events' is a matter of practise. Over time, you will get into the habit of going to something like this and only taking the bare minimum.

So whenever you go near the food, remind yourself that you're creating a new habit, and this is the first step.

I have actually gotten to the point where I can drive up to a fast food place and automatically look for the healthy option. Or go to a buffet and robotically select the foods that will be best for me without even looking (or being tempted) by the 'bad' stuff. But it took practise. It's hard now but won't be hard forever.

Just keep telling yourself that tomorrow.

Well done Maz thats bloody awesome!!! Just one thing though - are you drinking enough water? I get really bad headaches when I get dehydrated so make sure you drink 2 litres a day plus more when you exercise and after. Keep up the good work mate, you're doing awesome!

Go Maz, Go Maz, Go Maz!!!!

The fresh air is extra good for Mat too hun, all of your family will be much better off using the gorgeous air and sunshine (yes I do know you live in Vic ) because of the lovely vitamins they provide. And 10 minutes sun without sunscreen or a hat each day increases your Vitamin D absorption.

I just wanted to jump in here and say "Go MAZ!!!"

I travelled to Melb with Maz on the weekend and she was so good at sticking to her diet... I often forgot and offered her things she didn't want to eat on her on her diet and she always knocked it back.

I know it's gunna be hard for a little while Maz, but it won't last forever and you will be so happy once you have completed your goal!!

    xx

Ah but Tanya it was a good thing for me to with stand and not be tempted so thankyou hon

I got on the scales this week...I havent been walking as much as I did last week as its been raining (wwoooooo hoooo) and had school things to attend BUT I still lost 1/2 kg. Im not complaining...a loose, not matter how small is better then no loose at all . So ive lost 5 kg in less then 2 weeks and im loving it!!!! My goal atm is to make sure I get to my first weight goal before my parents come back from their holidays in S.A in May..so I can say look at moi hehehehe

thank you all for your wonderful support...ive come in here a few times to read when I have felt the urge or felt down (feeding time at the zoo times ) and it has stopped me in my tracks. So all your fabuolous inspiring thoughts are helping this fat woman get skinny again
