Hollo: Need to do a few times to get into it. The first time I did it I was too busy trying to get the moves right to get a really good work out...second time was much better and then so on once you got the routine worked out. Attack is similar in some ways, in that it involves getting used to the moves.

    Yes where is CQ????????

Winter: My DH is pretty fit, I rely on him to occupy the kids while I work out I said to him the other day about getting boxing pads as we already have gloves so we can work out together...he laughed a very funny laugh I'll just give him a nudge if he starts getting one of those old man bellies On the work thing, one of the ladies in my team had lap band surgery 2yrs ago and lost heaps from that, went in and took Tess last week and she is gradually putting it all back on again

Hollo: Have decided to do just my own work out next Wednesday at the gym and let the creche girls know where I am to see how Tess goes. I was bit freaked out on Wednesday as I had nevery heard her cry like that before and they made me feel a litle guilty that they couldn't get hold of me.

Well, I feel little sore after cardio circuit, it a great way though. I also like the instructore so once Tess settles down will be back into it as that is going to be the regular Wednesday class at 9:30am.
I think I will do RPM on Saturday??? I am deciding on that or Attack on Sunday, see how I go.

    Have great weekends everyone

I got to Pump today. First time at the gym for about 2 weeks I think. Bonus though, I don't feel that I"ve gained any weight while I haven't been training...but that's thanks to this thyroid thing...I think (hope) it's starting to make me lose a bit of weight. (not so much weight but pudge).

Heather: Bugga about creche next week. Sounds like they need to have more workers to allow for more kids to come, it's not fair that people should have to miss out because of inadequate child minding.

Winter: Your week sounds busy. Will try to do some family exercise, even if we all just chase each other around the back yard...but not tomorrow coz it's gonna be 37 so I think a day indoors or by the splash pool is in order.

Hi guys! I was sore this morning as I got a calf cramp on Wednesday at soccer but kept going. Maybe I should have taken it a bit easier. But I wasn;t sure I have pulled something or just a big build up of lactic acid from the cramp so I did a low impact video this morning (power pilates). Still worked up a sweat and calf definitely feels a bit better for the workout. I really want to jog or do the high impact video tomorrow though because I am going to a party tomorrow night and it just sucks my tummy in that little bit more. he he! Actually can't wait to go out and shake my booty! Its been so long!

I think you can def get fit without a gym! I've done it before! Dance around home, walks, like Winter said, use park equipment! My DH actually takes DD to the park then does push ups on the different things Find some good stairs and go up and down them - take them two at a time to get a better glute workout. You can use things like cans of food, bottles of things or packs of things for weights. Start with a 500g tin in each hand to do different weights, then increase to other weights. Old cordial or milk bottles (with handles) filled with things like rice, sand, or pebbles make great easy to handle weights!

Then there are things like squats, lunges, tricep dips... all can be done at home! Invest in a fitball, they usually come with exercise instructions and can be a very good workout!

Danni - YAY for contract being extended!!!!!!!!!

Well... I'm SORE today! It's a mix of good and bad sore for me. I love the good... bit dubious about the bad though!!! Am being very careful with movement today and will do some major stretching throughout the day... and intend to get on my treadmill later!!! Depending on my left glute, I will do some more lunges as well... and the exercise program that D has prescribed for me whilst he's away...

i am finding just small amounts of fitness are working for me ATM. i am so busy and i know if i joined at the gym i wouldm't have the time to go to many classes. so i have been just doing some walking, up and down the driveway ( it's long ok) and some smaller walks when i've got time, even around the block. i did 10 laps of drieway with DS 1 yesterday and that was good.

i have lost 3 kg since 1st of jan, when i restarted my goals for this year.

keep up the good work guys.

well done on the loss JBM!

Well, I got on the treadmill earlier - 30 min including incline. Followed by lunges up and down my garage (between 20-30 lunges), plus squats, plus some core work... by the end, my legs were JELLY! Still are a bit and it's been a couple of hours since I finished! LOL BUT, I keep telling myself that the lunges and squats will make great thighs and a great butt!!!! had I had any strength left in my legs I would have done some step ups as well! Tomorrow I'm planing core strengthening stuff, more treadmill time, some arm work (what I call butterflies), some bicep curls, I'll probably do some more squats and lunges (because I want that killer ass!)... and then I need to work out what to do about my Mummy Tummy!!!!!
