Leesa - yes you sure can. I plan to go every morning before everyone is awake for an hour, in Summer Im hoping to up the anty and ride my bike down to the gym aswell (hoping). I have alot of weight to lose and alot of me to find KWIM

MG - thank you so much for your support (and everyone's) Ive taken some pics that ive placed in a secret folder to share at a later date...with my weight and measurements. Scared me to be honest. I didnt recognise the fat lady staring back at me ..I dont know who the person is anymore.

Anyhoo - lost 1.1 kg last week after my health / fitness kick off! Yay - of course gastro friday night helped cement the weight loss but I'll take it!

Not going through 18 pages to find what I'm about to ask, but I've just joined the thread!
Zumba? I've just signed up for the Fernwood 8 sessions, haven't had one yet, but that's just a matter of logistics
Also, wanting to be able to take a walk in the evenings, but between kids being sick and DP being away for work during the week 3 weeks in a row it just hasn't happened. Neither has riding my horse. Soon!!

Hi folks. Well I managed to get to the gym three times this week, yay! Plus doing something on non-gym days like riding my bike or walking the dog. I did a class today and it was exhausting!! My face was red like Elmo! I'm glad I did it though. I feel pretty miserable at the gym like I can't wait for it to be over but afterwards I feel really good and proud of myself. I've been improving my diet, it could be better though.

How often do you guys weigh? I felt really good today after the class and was thinking of weighing myself but I'm quite scared to in case I've put on or even lost some but not very much, I'd be crushed. My dog is on a diet too and she's been getting heaps more exercise in but she put on 0.8kg. Hope the same thing doesn't happen to me! At least she has no concept of this and is happy all the time regardless. lol :P

I don't weigh myself ever - golden rul I've been living by for a long time, only broken by when I'm allowed to give blood and even then, I look, write it on the form quickly then never mention it again, I just point it out to the nurse and tell her I don't want to know LOL

    Hello ladies

Well thought i better get back in here and get my b*tt into gear!

The past couple of days I have been struggling with motivation, I just cant seem to exercise I want to but cant (feeling really lethargic but dont know why and its frigging frustrating the hell out of me!!), last week I was on a roll waking early to get on x-trainer, this week nada! My WII active should arrive this week though so Im looking forward to receiving that in the post, hoping once I get it I might find some spirit again .

My eating habits have been good though, Im so much more mindful of what Im putting in my mouth.

This week I have started a food and exercise diary so once again testing out my visual aid theory.

    And ice-cream intake still good

Hope you are all going well on journeys and doing a heap better than I am.

Hello all... I just got myself measured and weighed at the gym I'm apparently obese according to my body mass ratio.... so thats a wake up, I only thought I was overweight. My goals are to get more fit, move from obese to normal body mass and stress relief.

"]Christy! I know how it feels realising the BMI measurements aren't what you expected. It is a big shock and (in my case) bit of an upset. Turn that into motivation hun - you can do this .

Tan -sometimes the best way to 'get the monkey off your back' is to bite the bullet and go for a good training session, whether it be a brisk walk, job, fitness class, weights session!

Maz - been kicked out of the gym again yet ?

Hey Eluned, MG, Freya, Abb, ML83, MummyNaomi, onemore and Mayaness!.

Gah - evening sickness is debilitating me! The only time during my working day when I can exercise I cannot move without barfing! Ewww, sorry TMI! Bring on the weekend when I can do something in the morning!!
