    Thought I should check in with everyone, I've been a bit preoccupied lately with other things so haven't been on here a lot. How's everyone doing? My body seems to have turned into a weight loss machine, I had a really bad eating weekend, read lots of carbs 2 weeks ago, yet the scales have gone down another 700g anyway. It's probably slowed a bit, but it's not going up!
    I don't crave sugar anymore, ever. My only downside is my tongue feels a bit dodgy and the dry mouth thing is still there a bit, though not as bad as previously mentioned.
    I've been trying on clothes that were tight as or I couldn't get into last season and they are loose, I am loving the thought of going into summer thinner rather than fatter after winter for a change.

    Keep up the good work everyone. N2L sincerest thanks for pointing me in the direction of high fat low carbs!

    Woo hoo!!

    I am 600gm off 10kg lost (need to change my ticker!) Pretty happy about that

    Been a bit slack with cooking this week as my DD has been away, but I am still on plan It really is becoming a way of life.

    Great job Ausgirl! I'm glad it is working for you!

    Hi there LCHFers, I have been thinking about moving towards this way of eating for a while. I am not LCHF yet, but have been consciously cutting back on carbs mostly. I already generally don't eat sugar/fructose.

    I am hoping that you all can help me out by posting what you eat each day. There is plenty of info about what you can/can't eat, but what I am after is an actual list of what you actually ate on a given day. Just to give me some ideas and a real life example. TIA

    I've been doing this for nearly 4 months consistently, well when I say consistently, I usually have cheats on the weekends, especially if I am away with someone special. As you can see from my ticker, this has most definitely worked for me and I am one happy chicky!

    A normal day of HFLC for me looks like:

    Breakfast - Alternate between depending on time frame:
    * Grain free granola with full fat milk
    * Bacon and eggs - 2 -3 rashers and 2 eggs
    * Tea with cream

    Lunch - often leftovers from dinner night previous or
    Salads with ham and lots of cheese, sometimes salami instead of ham
    Now it's warmer I lean more towards the salads, in winter I will have leftovers or soup.
    Occasionally I make the parmesan crackers and ave with cream cheese and ham/chicken/salami

    Snacks -
    Full fat cheese
    Parmesan crackers with dip
    Nuts
    (I hardly snack anymore I just don't feel hungry)

    Dinner -
    I haven't changed this alot other than cutting the carbs - so not much rice or pasta these days, still have the occasional potato now but was very strict in the beginning.
    Meats (so steak, chicken, pork with the crackling)
    Vegies and lots of them, but not starchy vegies
    I often make a veggie bake with cheese sauce - yum, sometimes with chicken in it
    Mince dishes
    There are so many things really.....

    Dessert -
    Don't often feel like it now but occasionally have frozen berries with cream

    So months on, thought I'd revive this thread. Need to adjust my ticker as post breakup, I've found about 4kg (sigh), but am back on LCHF to get them back off again. Just too much feeling sorry for myself eating occurred in the last 7 weeks!
