Weightloss plan: get butt fixed and drink more water, let carbs and WALK
I just wanted to say that NO WAY did I think you were that size, I thought you looked good in the photos - you looked so happy and confident, OK so maybe the booze helped with the confidence but I really did think you looked good.

I get that alot...Im 5foot 10 so I suppose my height makes up for it but I see myself naked and even that scares the hell out of me
Most of the time I dont care..its when I go to put on a pretty dress and rea the size label....size 26...that my heart drops..especially when its hard getting it on

More fruit and water for starters for me girls

    Ok hot mummas,

the truth is, you'll have to exercise if you want to lose consistently and tone up as well. I want to get back into exercise myself (used to do it heaps - great stress relief, but sucks sh*t when you first start out) so am looking for volunteers to join me to set realistic exercise goals and hold each other accountable to meeting exercise targets.

We are all hot mummas but we want to BLOW Syndey away when we get there, and feel better about ourselves to boot!! Am prepared to be lovingly supportive, or practise some tough love if I need to!

Okay, who's with me? (don't all rush at once! Lol!)

Good point Sushee. My weight is fluctuating terribly this year. Would love the motivation of a meetup to help.

I would strongly recommend everyone who is struggling with losing weight despite eating well and exercising to ask their GP for a blood test to make sure their thyroid levels are on track. If you have a problem with your thyroid then your metabolism will work against you no matter what you do. My endo said that more and more women are presenting with thyroid disease every year... he used to say that 1 in 10 had a problem... but now it'sore like 1 in 5... and it's often undiagnosed for years.

With the exercise thing: if i didn't walk the school run i would be in big trouble weight-wise. School is nearly 1.5km away and it's STEEP in places but i do it twice a day rain hail or shine. For some people voluntary exercise will never work... if you have a kid waiting for you at school at 3.30pm and you don't drive (or refuse to use your car) then this could be very useful in losing weight.

Also know that the body will confuse hunger and thirst. Force yourself to drink a glass of water 15 mins BEFORE you eat anything.

I only want to lose a bit of weight but these are my tips.

i dont understand WHY ive put on weight...i eat EXACTLY the same diet i did before i had DD.... and i absolutely loathe excersise it makes me feel awful and lethargic for the whole day
I do the same and I figured my metabolism slowed post baby.

    I'm in!

    Current weight 75kilos
    Goal weight 64 kilos (i'm 5ft 10 inches)

I know it's only a few kilos really but I have a dud knee so any extra weight makes it hurt. I also get really tired so I figure the healthier meals are needed for Vit and mins.

I'm 5'2", so I could easily go lower than 60kgs (once I hit 60 I pln on going to about 56). ATM, 77kgs is just wayyyyy too big for my frame...under all the flab I'm pretty small haha.

It helps I don't drive so I walk everywhere anyway. I do about 20 kilometres of walking a week. I am 2 blocks from town so I just walk it.
