The 12wbt gives you breakfast, lunch and dinner meal plans each week for the 12 weeks with the recipes as well. It's what I love about it. I don't have to think. And the family eat it as well, I usually just add potatoes or rice or pasta for the hubby and kids.
If you think you are a pretty organised, motivated person and can stick to something then you should have no dramas following Michelle's books. Crunchtime is good. The 12wbt is awesome just for the support alone. It's one big family, it's quite phenomenal and of course the videos and mindset lessons from Michelle are great. She really makes you think and really gets your head in the right space to make it work.
I'm in Perth too so if you do end up joining, there is a closed 12WBT Perth Crew facebook page which is just amazing and supportive as well and we organise catch ups and exercise sessions and give moral support.
I'm really looking forward to doing it again next year after this baby is born.
I've been thinking of joining the 12wbt, but I'm a little unsure of two things: firstly, I have a mild vaginal prolapse, and high impact activity is really out of the question. Would this make it hard for me to be involved?
Secondly, I have two children, a 3yo and 16 month old. I'm BFing both. Would the Huggies or the normal plan be best? What's the difference between the two?
Hi BNM!
Round 1 this year will be my second round. I lost 27.5kgs between day 1 of signing up and the final weigh in for the last round of 2011 and I LOVE this program. You can tailor the exercise to suit you... it doesn't have to be high impact (although that does burn the cals quicker). I can't compliment this program enough!! I've got loads more weight to lose, but my whole mindset has changed. I KNOW I can do it.
I'd highly recommend this program to anyone! I have a 4yo and 2.5yo and I just did the standard 12wbt. If you are BFing, then maybe the huggies program might suit a little better.
