:happyforyou: Sopdet!!! Well done, honey. Thats awesome!
Mamapan- great work too, well done!
Eluned- yah for you as well!
Im struggling a bit have added the extra BFing calories and reached the quota yesterday with very little exercise but I think my milk might be dwindling :(. Im not certain but have had 2 comments on how much smaller my boobs look :dunno: DD is not a happy camper but not sure if its teeth? I was so dizzy and blacking out yesterday.
I lost 1kg since Monday.
-
Lily Dust, make sure you drink LOTS of water. I found last round that made all the difference to my supply. I'm finding I need to drink 2.5 litres of water a day plus extra during exercise. Try not to be alarmed about your boobs shrinking. Mine did the same last round and it was more due to overall weight loss than a drop in supply. There's a lot of fatty tissue around our boobs :) well done on the weight loss.

Well done to everyone on their great losses so far!
I have surprised myself and am actually enjoying the exercise. Struggling a bit with the dinners. Breakfast and lunch are fine. Hopefully it will get better when I have a few weeks worth of recipes and I am can change things around a bit.
Lost 2kg since Sunday, so very happy with that!
I have an added challenge coming up. We have decided to sell our house and buy something bigger and plan to have it on the market in 3 weeks, so it's going to be busy around here! The 12wbt will still be taking priority, but I don't think I'll be having much online time. :(
-
Megan, woohoo!!! 2kg is AWESOME :) Well done. Have you checked out the recipe index on the 12wbt site? It's under the More link right up the top in the blue bar. You could just swap the meals around by choosing something else with a similar calorie value. Good stuff on the house. We need to do the same, we're just procrastinating about putting our house on the market.
Did everyone see the Live feed tonight?
-
Eluned, thanks for reminding me about the recipe index! I completely forgot it was there!! I have just written my shopping list and am replacing 2 of the meals with lasagne that I am going to cook tomorrow and freeze until I need it. Will be nice to have a couple of nights where I don't have to cook. For lunches, I am just going to make up my own wraps sticking to the calories set for that day. I'm trying to keep the grocery bill down by not buying lots of little bits and pieces.
Had a big day in the garden (the work has begun to get this place on the market!) and burnt 1500 calories in just over 3 hours. I took the HRM off after that, but still worked for another 2 hours. Had my MIL up here to look after DS so we could get heaps done, so I had to take advantage of it while I could. Off to RPM in the morning, so will be interested to see how much that burns!

How did everyone go on Week 2? I lost 1.1kg, so am up to 3.1kg lost now. Happy with that, it's been a crazy week. I can't get the amount of calories burned that Michelle wants because I would be at the gym 1.5-2 hours a day and I just don't have that spare at the moment. I'm sure I'll burn about a billion calories on the weekend finishing off the yard ready to go on the market. Photos are being taken on Tuesday so there's lots to do.
Did everyone try the red curry that was on the menu plan? Yum. my favourite by far and apparently would have been DH's favourite if it had some kind of meat in it!
-
Hi girls,
How are you all going with the program? I'm still loving it! I'm eating healthy breaky and lunch, not necesarily on the plan coz that doesn't fit with my life at the moment, but still within the calories and doing most of the dinners, yummmm!!!! Yup, I've had requests to make the red curry one again, same with the chicken and mustard sauce and the lasagne!
Week 3 for me and I lost 1.4kg, for me that's 5kg total since 1 week pre-challenge started! Yay!!!!! :) I still have 14kg to go but it's a whole lot better than having 19kg to lose!!! After I lose the next 5kg I'll be into single digits! :) :) :)
Anyway, hope you're all having a good week and had a great weigh in yesterday!
-
I've lost 4kgs. last couple of weeks have been bad, not for food, doing that ok, but was out for a week due to surgery and then this last week sleep has not been my friend, like I've gone for runs at 2am to try to sleep. But a loss is a loss.
I'm trying to be as strict as I can with the food, which is always interesting on dates.
-
Hi all,
I am thinking of joining round 2 of Michelles program.
Can anyone share their experiences (good & bad) with me? (Don't have to PM me)
Thanks
-
Richichi, I just signed up for the next round, I havent done it before but I have never come across anyone who has regretted it and the results speak for themselves when you see the girls involved.
I'm not a fan of being told exactly what to eat, I would much rather just stick to tracking calories myself, but I think it will still be awesome :) I'm most looking forward to the support in the forums, I've heard it is phenomenal!
-
Hi RhiChiChi :hello:
I must admit I have not been strict with it and have just walked 1 hour a day and have lost to date 4kgs in 10 weeks (I started a size 12). I had aimed for 6kgs but Im pretty happy since I havent put in as much effort as I wanted to (my own fault). I find it very difficult to lose weight so it was a shock to see the numbers dropping. I also love that I have printed out the recipes so I can always go back and do a whole 12 weeks again and incorporate these meals into my new weekly meal plans.
So overall, with my lameness I am very happy in the program :)

I've just signed up for round 2. Did round 1. Happy with size loss (to date 50cms all over), fitness levels are way better, not as much weight as I would have liked but I've been slack both with food and exercise at times.
I'm happy with the kick start it gave me and looking forward to doing the next round and pushing myself just that little bit more :) I have an overseas trip to get a hawt body for (oh yeh and probably a pregnancy in the next 12 months) :)
-
Thanks so much for sharing your experiences. I am going to join when I get back from holidays, so will look forward to doing it with some of you ladies.
Appletree - we'll be able to pick these ladies brains :-). Best of luck. I have seen some of the u-tube postings and it is amazing to see what people have achieved. I am a little scared I will fall off the wagon as I usually
do ....
-
I am joining up for round 2 when I get paid in 2 weeks.
I havent done it before, and hoping to give it a good go.
-
*Bump*
Hoping some others will join up too :-)
I have joined and done pre-season task 1.
I am yet to do the 'excuses' task or then next one yet (haven't had a quiet moment yet)
I have signed up to train with a personal trainer twice a week, yoga once a week & then I will do some stuff at home until Michelle gives us her plans. In the interim I will use calorie king to monitor my food & calorie intake. I weighed myself this morning - holy moly, Easter was not kind to me...!
-
I'm reading her 'crunch time' book (thanks Sopdet) which sounds very similar and has some good things for me to focus on until I can join on the 11th and get the real tasks.
I'm starting with drinking 2L water a day, and going to bed earlier. These are habits I find easy to get back in to, and would be 'quick wins' in terms of motivation for me.
The hard part for me will be getting my family on board to support me.
-
I'm in guys!!! I am using the same username as on here, and have done pre-season task one if you want to find me and say hello :)
Can't wait to get started!
-
Pandora - I have asked my DH to buy me that book for Mothers Day, so glad to hear some feedback about it.
Hi appletree! I will try to find you, I changed my username to 'Juls' (it was rhichichi).
I did my first session with the PT & I nearly passed out about four times.... I am so unfit :( I know it won't take long to get back into it but I am very disappointed in myself for going so far backwards. I have also put on about 3kgs since the last time I saw her, which was in August last year...
