Hi Ladies, I have joined this round after doing a round last year & lost about 10 kgs on it. I have sort of started - tracking my food and trying to stay at 1200cals. Been a little tough but I lost 1.4 kgs since last week and hope to have similar success. Exercise has been helping me to stay focussed plus the fact that we are starting IVF next month, so trying to get as much weight off as possible and eating very well to help with the IVF. Even though I have done the pre season tasks before, I have still found them a little hard (more the excuses and goals) but I know that preseason definately helps with being successful once the program kicks off.
HI all! I know this is an old thread - just wondering if the meals on this plan work for kids as well?? Are they reasonably priced meals that can be adapted for a whole family? Im scared I will join up and end up having to cook separately for myself and then kids and DH?
I consider it to be pretty reasonably priced and from what others have said, their children eat the meals.
Most of the meals are either made in 2 or 4 serves. My husband eats what I cook every night without complaints (he loves the food!).
Have a look at a crunchtime cookbook if you can and see what you think.
My daughter and I absolutely LOVE the mushroom risotto on the plan.
I cook alot of the meals from MB12WBT such as the Penang Chicken Curry, Rissotto, Lasagna, Prawn Pad Thai, Pizzas etc... and my DD eats them. Some recipes are not suitable for her or I know she won't eat it so I just modify a recipe or serve up one that she will eat. I have definatley saved money whilst doing the program b/c I cut out alot of the extra stuff I was eating and portion sizes are smaller than what I was eating.
Like Niadalla said, look at the cookbook b/c that will give you a good idea of the type of foods/recipes she promotes.
