Oh crudd .. I'm walking BIG circles around this thread *hides*

Nai - Goodness ... your doing well
krys - You too!!! Just under 4kg to go.
Mr Squid - Welcome to the secret mind of women on weightloss

I've managed to lost another few grams. Down to 77.9kg. A loss is a loss right? Now if I can only suck it up a bit more Me and DH is starting Mauy Thai next month. Can't wait. It's being taught to us by our new Personal Trainer *ohhh-aahhh wink-wink* Sure it's going to cost us a bit, BUT BIG BUT we are going to get personal motivation and I need that. I need someone to stand there and shout at me "Yu can du it!!" I have a good feeling about this. Can't wait. I'm also seeing my dr sometime next week or so, going to ask him to prescribe me something to help me kickstart my weightloss, just so that I can get real motivated again. Any ideas on what?

Nadine216 - ROFL too funny - at least if you're walking circles... that's exercise, right?

I've been doing the same. Put on some weight last week so was way too annoyed to send the info to Trillian but now I think it was mostly AF! I weighed myself yesterday .4kg UP. Then today... .5kg DOWN so I'm back where I was a few weeks ago! Onwards & upwards. Did a 30 min cycle yesterday then a 30 min walk (to settle DS). Then today 2 walks, both 30 mins... YAY! And I was HORRIBLY unmotivated yesterday am, but started writing down my food anyway, and in the end, didn't do too bad! So... by next Mon, I want to have lost that .5 kg! or else! My weight just varies SO much by day. I have to weigh each day or I get too discouraged by an aberration on weigh-in day. Whereas if I have the whole week, I can see which direction I'm going. I even got on the Wii Fit - haven't done that for yonks, so of course it thought I was 1.9kg lighter teheheehehe that was nice (even if it was after like 3 months!

Mr Squidipa - welcome! Always nice to have new faces, and a male will help give us a different perspective

    krysalyss - that's awesome! congrats

Nai - oooh you're doing great too! OMG sometimes I wish I could try lose quicker... then I think... slow & steady I can do it.

Trillian - lol I don't think you need your bum kicked! I think you do an awesome job running this for us all - so thank you very much! As for being slack, well we're all human and getting back up & keeping going is the very heart of this challenge methinks.

I HUUUURRRT getting out of bed this morning - it may have been a mistake to do another hard DVD on top of already sore muscles the next day. Takes me a few minutes to be able to walk straight, on my calves as they freeze up all sore whenever I am still for a while

On the bright side I jumped on the scales before brekky this morn and was 0.5kg down for this week. Anyone else too cold to take their measurements? It's bad enough stripping down to jump on the scales quickly, I am too much of a cold wimp to stay that way to tape measure it up Eh, I can tell by my clothes anyway.

It's been quiet in here of late. What's everyone doing to stay motivated?

OMG I think you got the answer Sas... I don't think everyone IS motivated! It's been sooo quiet! WEll I was .4kg up at the start of the week. Then back to status quo on Tues. Then .3kg down today! Woo hoo I'm so excited. Just deciding whether to walk or Wii Fit today (I cycled 40 mins yesterday and my legs are dead). I really want to make my mini-milestone for next week (yeah, the same one I was hoping to get a fortnight ago better late than never huh).

And all I can say to everyone else is... COME BACK! It doesn't matter what you did or didn't do yesterday or last week... it only matters what you do TODAY!!!

I'm still here and still plugging away! I haven't got much to report as I have been pretty busy just running around and trying to get my kids to sleep through the night *sigh*

Hi guys. Sorry I have been away in Brisbane at a workshop. Just an average week for me - some good times and some bad. Am hoping for just any loss this week. Even 0.1kg would be great.
Am feeling pretty motivated at the moment. Starting a new project at work and want to keep plugging on with the weight loss.
    Here's where I am now:
    Starting weight: 86kg
Current weight: 73.8kg (12.2kg lost so far)
Upper range healthy weight: 71kg (2.8 to go)
Weight I was in high school: 68kg (5.8 to go)
Weight I want to be at Xmas: 65kg (8.8kg to go)
Weight I want to be next March/30th BDay: 60kg (13.8kg)

My ultimate goal is 60kg. I have 8 months to lose it in (1.72kg per month).

Hope everyone is going well too!

wow Krysaluss - you are well on your way to your goals!! It helps to have mini goals doesn't it.

Well I seem to have 'plateaud', which is bummer as have been working soooo hard. Will jump on scales see if any better tomorrow as I weighed in Wed instead of Tues last week. Ah well, at least I held last weeks loss . . for me its never a loss unless it's held for a week so I guess thats something.

Krysalyss - you are doing fantastically!

Well I am 1.25kg down this week so 6.25 in total - the same as my 5 month old baby

    Here's where I am now:
    Starting weight: 80kg
Current weight: 73.75kg (6.25kg lost so far)
    Weight pre-pregnancy: 68kg (5.75 to go)
Upper range healthy weight: 65kg (8.75 to go)
Weight I want to be at Xmas: 62kg (11.75kg to go)

My ultimate goal is 60kg too but probably by the time I go back to work in Feb next year.

wow, you guys are going great. It's really interesting to see goals... I'm gonna write mine too. I was feeling determined last week, but have lost nothing so have re-started WW online, and DH now joining in too yaaay so hopefully that will help. Really have slowed down more than I want in terms of weight loss. How do you guys keep motivated?

Highest weight: 71kg (or according to WW scales, 71.6kg - can't decide which to use) Feb 09
Lowest weight: 49kg (2002) - was a bit too skinny but I'd been sick.
When got married 10 years ago: 64kg
Current weight: 64.5 (lost 6.5kg so far)
Healthy BMI weight: 62.5 (2kg to go)
Goal weight: 57kg (about 22/23 BMI & waist of about 80cm - I'm apple shaped) (7.5kg to go)

And I hope to do this before getting PG again (hopefully later this year)... but am BF'ing (well expressing actually) so can only lose .5kg a week. I'm back at work in about 10 weeks... so could hope to lose 5kg by then... would be awesome to be under 60!!

Recently got some "gee you've lost some weight" comments which was lovely. And this arvo I'm going for a cycle on the exercise bike
Hope everyone else is going well.

Hi girls, oh I'II give you my stats as well.
    Start weight was 89.5kgs
    current weight is 80.7kgs
Upper end of healthy weight range 72kgs
Lower end 62kgs can't remember when I was that would have been a kid.

My ideal weight is 68kgs but I would settle for low 70'skgs.. but might be waiting a while longer cause I just got an unexpected BFP. So now I am in a holding pattern hoping to not put on too much weight for this pregnancy, it would be nice to have 10 kgs to lose at the end of it.
So thanks for all the support and at least I got down 9kgs and sort of feel human again, I will keep hanging around these threads to keep my weight at bay...you are a great bunch of girls very inspirational.

OMG wow blackduckies, that's huge! Congrats on the BFP! And impressive you've gone down 9kg too, well done all the best for a good PG!!

well I'm down .2kg after my official weigh-in (I've switched to doing mondays). Why do I ALWAYS weigh less the next day!?!?!? But exercising well, tracking food well & feeling GOOD!!! (day 2 motivation is high )

CONGRATS BlackDuckies on the BFP!! Well done on losing 9kgs too - it must feel good to start a pregnancy 9kg's lighter, do stick around - we're all slowing down a lot with our enthusiasm for posting so need all we can get . Yep, you're right, prevention is better than cure they say, so even though your weight loss journey is halted hope we can keep motivating you to have a happy, healthy pregnancy I really regret losing my fitness so early in my pregnancy - I was soo fit with my hard DVD's and 45min on high level excercise bike - then we went to the US for a month and all I could do was walk and totally lost my fitness - I am determined not to do that next time (I guess that remains to be seen - you might be seeing a very sheepish me next year )

Sas - I'm exactly the same - I was sooo unfit last PG, and I'm determined to hang onto it for the next PG. I've just started doing clinical pilates too - hoping that will strengthen my hips so I won't have the probs I had last time, and will be able to exercise more during the PG.

Oh yes, definately better to err on the side of caution then BD - must make things a bit more anxious for you - hopefully bleeding will have improved this time around. I really had no excuse but learned my lesson as am not enjoying clawing my fitness back (I'm such a custard). Wish I had an excuse to eat lollies though I say enjoy!!
