My first week on WW and I have lost 1.4kg :dance: I'm so excited!!
Can I join?? Now? I have just started today. Nothing fancy, just plain not snacking like a little piggy, not eating like a bigger piggy and no porking down chocolates like the mother piggy I am.
And going to the gym.
Hi everyone. Just a quick note. Lost 1.4 this week - yay!!! Hope you all did well too.
Wow Go Krys - that is massive for this many weeks in!
I lost 1kg this week and 200g last week in Cairns but am putting total in today as 1.2 since I missed last weeks weigh-in so my % will be slightly high this week.
I didn't exercise yesterday - I was too hungry (LOL) by the time I got time at 10 last night, but thought, if I exercise I know I'm going to be starving and eat way more than I'll be able to burn at this low energy time of night. Sigh.
Now I have to make myself exercise today. Am sooo exhausted though, the phone rang before 3am last night and you always know that's a bad sign. My DH's best friend's only bro was killed in a horrible car accident last night - DH grew up with them. The cops informed his Dad who lives down south and rely's rang my Dad who went around to tell him, Dad rang DH at same time so he would go be with him. He's now driving him up to Taree so they can identify the body. So horrible- it was on the news. Couldn't sleep then obviously but of course DD still wakes at 6 so am bit of a zombie today.

I've been MIA lately. In fact it's called avoidance behaviour. I have not been able to look at this thread for the past few days as i have been very naughty.
DS and DH went away fishing from Thursday to Sunday night and during those days i did not get a chance to hit the gym and ate junk. I had pizza, a whole block of chocolate, cake, fresh bread, chips, lollies etc...
I felt bad as i ate it, but enjoyed it too IYKWIM.
I hit the gym last night. 2 hours. Jogged at 8.4kph for 35mins. The longest and fastest i have ever jogged for. I was quite proud. Did lots of weights in amongst the men. I was the only female training in the weights area. I did get uncomfortable at times, but just carried on. Here they were lifting 50kgs, and i was doing 17.5kgs.
I hopped on the scales this morning, and to my shock, I hadn't gained anything but lost about 8cm off my waist. So in all, I was happy.
Amy, Krys and Nai - fab losses. Very proud. I bet it boosts the motivation and confidence levels that little bit higher.
I've made another appt to see my plastic surgeon on the 10/07 to discuss lipo or tummy tuck when i get my boobies done. This apron belly just won't budge and makes me real angry that after all this weightloss it is the one place that won't move. It could be excess skin, i don't know, but it does look like fatty skin. i think once the belly goes, i'll be real comfortable in how my body looks.

That's an excellent loss Sas.
How sad about the accident. Poor family and friends. I hate receiving phone calls late at night as they can only bad phone calls.

Sas, Amy and Nai - good work on the kg losses.
TD - that is a great cm loss result. I wouldn't feel too bad about the junk food. It will boost your metabolism and may kick start you into a good loss in the next couple of weeks.
Sas - so sorry to hear about the accident. I hope your DH can help his friend through this. It must be awful

TD - :redface: you are my insperation ... thank you. I have been talking to DH that if I reach goal weight, I would like to have lipo for my knees ... and maybe my saddle bags.
Oh shucks Nadine, you've gotten me all embarrased. I hope i can inspire people to reach their goals. I'll tell you who my inspiration is...Brittany Spears' figure. I want it. I know i won't get it, but i can try ;)
My DH told me today that i really don't need to go to the gym for weightloss, but he can see that i come back all happy and motivated and he loves seeing me that way. :D
I feel bad that i couldn't go to the gym tonight because i have a really bad gas problem. I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome and my body can't cope with the build up of gas that well. My body won't let it go, so it builds up and up and i look like i'm 6 months pregnant. How can i jog with a belly like that?? :wall::wall::wall:
Re: lipo on the knees. I was watching Dr. 90210 on Foxtel and this lady had lipo on her knees and the dr couldn't believe how much fat there was on her knees. So i can hear you loud and clear on having lipo there. i hope you reach your goal weight real soon.

hi girls, sorry only a quick couple of persoanls from me.:doh:we have had our second round of gastro down here (the kids ) how I managed to escape who knows??? Now Ds is sick with a croup type thingy on antibiotics and will be off kinder till aftre school holidays, I have everything crossed the girls don't catch his cold that started it all off!!!
Anyway, no excerise but still a loss for me 600grams but better than nothing.. and a little bit off my waist ...(definately not 8 cm go Turkish....:clap:)
Turkish, I have IBS :wall:and panic attacks and a tummyoverhang, does'nt matter how much I lose, it gets worse and makes me feel so bad a bout myself CS x 3 to blame methinks. Great work getting to your 63kgs,(lighter now) I can only wish:rolleyes:

Hopefully I will get online a bit more this week ????and a bit of exercise in a well, I am so over yuck clean ups, I was wishing i could be the daddy and leave the house a few days ago but things got a bit better. Catch ya all.
Hey Pam - My IBS is anxiety related and am severely lactose intolerant. Last night's attack, i can blame eating at mum's house. I was really scared of going overboard and had too much fetta cheese too. i hate having IBS. It controls my life.
Hope the kids start to feel better. I'd rather my kids have a cold than gastro (if i was given an option).
hihi all!! Ive been MIA; not really been exercising so a big FAIL on my end but my eating habits have changed! Which is huge! I really want to go to the gym tonight; i think theyve signed too many people up to such a small gym tho, its always packed! So then i have to leave it til later and it gets too cold aarrgghhh excuses!!!
Got my car back from the insurance company; they fixed the bumper and added a ding to the side, not impressed. So now i have to re book a new assessment for them to determine whether or not they did it (which they did) and IF they are going to fix it!! Wtf?!

TD - oh I'm so with you on the IBS. While mine isn't IBS per se, it's similar enough. When I was 8 weeks PG last time a taxi driver thought I was 6 months :doh: I bloat so badly I think I'm gonna wear mat clothes permanently. My DH has IBS and lactose issues very similar to yours. It is a right PITA. I think your cm loss is AWESOME I just wish I could be there!

I hope the car repairers admit to their mistake and repair it Amy. What a bummer. The weather being what it is makes exercising damn hard. The motivation levels just drop. You just feel like hangin' out on the sofa with a blankie. I hear you, hun.
This new gym which i'm at, is like what you've described. I try to go straight after work at about 4.15pm'ish and it's still relatively quiet. Come 5.30-7pm it is packed, ppl are waiting to using the treadmills, but by that stage my cardio work is completed and am doing weights. If i can't get there straight after work, i go later in the evening 7.30pm onwards, ppl are usually going home at that time.

Now my DH would like that!!! ;) But yeah, if she can do it so can "normal" ppl. DH does not actually mind me looking the way I am right now. He is constantly telling me how much he loves my body and how sexy I am. I mind me.:

Have not been in the gym yet. We are starting up a new kafee and me and DH are running like headless chickens, also I have a stupid back thing going on. Going to try and get an appointment for phisyo/accupuncture for Friday so I can be up and gyming on Monday. I love my weights too. I love to just consentrate HARD on the mucsle group I'm working and just FEELING it burn the fat away. I'm actually addicted to Step and Ball classes, but my work hours don't allow me to join any atm :( :( I am so bummed about that.
Been doing good on the less eating front. Had half a mugcake last night that I made for DH. Norty, but I did stop after that. Did not go binge and ate the whole thing. Good girl.
:lol: I blame him also. Although some of those proceedures looks so :sick: I have always had trouble with my knees. It's those parts that rub together when I walk, I can seem to get rid of it. Even when I was 68kg, they were still there. I would also love to have a passiongap (if you stand with your feet together, you can place your hand between your legs) BUT I'm a big-boned girl, don't think that is going to happen .... wait .... .THINK BRITNEY!!!!:

Amy - I hate going to the gym when it's packed. I hate standing in line to wait for a machine ... so pointless then.
Nadine - "Passion Gap" :rofl: Never heard that one - my mum has an old fashioned name for it in German that translates to "board between the legs" - makes it sound less desirable ay. I don't think I will ever have one of those either, I have tight hips and thighs so I don't get saddlebags but my legs are shaped to meet in the middle, even when I was a size 10. Maybe if I got to a size 6, but I don't think that will EVER happen. Right now I'd settle for not wobbling.
Am hoping to break back into the 60's in the next couple of weeks. If I ever exercise again, haven't for about a week :redface:. Haven't been able to sleep with all the bad news this last week and have been too lethargic to exercise, bar carrying 7+ kg of bub around which is better than nothing I guess. Have been extra careful on my calories to counteract though, so still hoping for a loss.
Hi guys. How is everyone doing this week?
I am slipping a little bit. I have been dieting now for 6 months and I have to say I am getting a bit bored of it. lol.
I have still been meeting my Calorie King guidelines but feel like I have been bad in some way. I am sure it is just a phase.
Am definitely fitter though. On friday at soccer I was chomping at the bit waiting to sub on the field. I could easily have played a full game. DH asked me how I was feeling when I got home and I told him I felt like going for a jog! I scored three goals (out of 8) so that was good too. Looking forward to cycling to work tomorrow. So I am enjoying all of the benefits of having lost a fair amount of weight (10.5kg so fgar -woo hoo!) but miss those nights where we got junk food, or even just normal food and I didn't have to think about how much I ate.

Ive had a shocker the past 2 weeks, not been to the gym once!! Done plenty of housework tho :redface: completely preparing myself for a gain this week. Cant really blame anyone but myself tho lol.
