    Well done bjrose!!

I just came back from the gym and did 5km in 29:32 - I just SMASHED my goal of 30min woohoo! And while I was there I sneakily jumped on the scales to see 66.9 so I am heading off to my reunion feeling a bit awesome However if I celebrate too much Monday might not look so good

DH came & joined us for pilate's this morning. Made it interesting. Made it easier for us too...trying to show him its easier for us than it is, lol.
He was a bit stuffed...considering he's a shearer! Straight out for a smoke after I think the body got too much oxygen!

Straight out for a smoke after
Oh that is so my DH too. Smoke just before going in and again straight after.

I feel much better today. I got a wee bit of lay in this morning and had a totally AWESOME class. I went alone. One of our shops got robbed yesterday at gunpoint! DH was still busy with the police and all that this morning. So I went alone and man oh man, he almost killed me. BUT I loved it. I loved that I did not have to rest so long between our rounds and that I had the fan too myself

Oh yeah ... and my dresses fit me that's my pre-pg dresses. And I'm wearing a skirt today .. with heels.

I'm weighing in tomorrow and also doing my measurements.

Goodluck for the weekend ya all!!

Just back from the gym and my weekly weigh-in...no significant change this week, still 148kg!

Even though I've not lost any weight over the last couple of weeks, I'm feeling better and actually enjoying the gym sessions. My PT is still focusing heavily on weights rather than cardio, and I have a feeling that it is a little counter productive, but time will tell.

In the past I've always found that I put on muscle mass very easily, and the weight sessions seem to be encouraging this to happen again - I'm up to 80 reps on the leg press machine with 390kg of weight now, and tbh I could do more, but there isn't anywhere else to hang the weights! My goal is to lose weight this time, not just lose fat - so I'm hoping that it works out.
Sustained cardio is a different story, so I'm trying to do more work on that outside of the PT sessions.

Diet wise the targets that the PT has me working to are:-
    Carbs 155g
    Protein 228g
    Fats 57g (Saturated 10g)

I'm still experimenting with different ways of meeting the protein target without busting through the fat limit. Only one bad night this week, as we ate out a restaurant (Pilu) for Pixie's birthday - but it was worth it!

Nai - Congrats on smashing your goal!

Nadine216 - if you think that you will need to snack then try to keep something handy that fits with diet plan - I've got a bag of almonds that I can nibble on if I'm peckish.

Tinsel - Beth is up 2-3 times a night at the moment, so I try to let the Pixie catch up on sleep whenever I can...I'm a bit more of a morning person than she is so it all works out. Happy wife = Happy life!

    Have a great weekend everyone....

Congratulations, Nai, on beating your record! Hope your reunion is awesome.
Glad you are back in the saddle, Nadine. I'm sure the lie-in really made a difference.
Bear, I hope it all works out the way you want. In the meantime, far out @ pressing 390kg! That's awesome.

I am having a down day today. My kids are really cranky and it is really hot so I can't chuck them in the stroller for a walk. Feeling trapped and haven't had any decent exercise since Thurs when my older DD was at kindy. DH works pretty long hours and I feel like I'm doing it on my own a bit.
I know I'll be gutted if I haven't lost any weight this week, but it is the probable reality.

Well I've certainly been very slack getting in here. Since I started our weight loss journey at home I have lost 3.8kgs. Not sure the difference in dates though! I am exhausted all the time from work and really struggle to get going when it comes to exercise. but i know i will get there. i have just begun a new blog to try and track what i am doing, i also hope it will be more of a motivation.

does anyone else have a weightloss blog? i really need someone to hole me accountable iykwim.

better run. glad to hearf everyone is keeping at it.

Hi everyone! Sorry no time for personals today but I weighed in this morning and am down 400g and one cm around the waist. So even though I would have loved more (of course) I am ok with that. Hopefully I have lost 1kg in fat and gained 600g in muscle. lol.
Anyway will check in another day.
    Bye!

    Rytha Thanks for the encouragement

Nadine, dont' give up even though your dh has, I am sure when he starts to see how much your body is changing he will jump back on board, and GUNPOINT! OMG what kind of shop do you have, hope everyone is ok!

bjrose how wonderful for a 2kg loss even with a few treats thrown in there!

Nai YAY for smashing records, well done

TheBear ohhh I love the leg press but I have a home gym now and I miss the leg press, may be in house #2 I will have a bigger area and I will get one! Now days I just do squats

Snacks hang in ther hon, even though from time to time you may feel like you're doing it all on your own we are all here for you and I'm sure your dh is doing the best he can too to support you. What day is your weigh day? Hope there is a change for you

    Cookiemonster 3.8kg WOOOHOOOO

Krys 400grams is still great, because you've lost so much already have you noticed that the figures are getting less every week?

AFM Wooohoo I've lost 3.1kg in total after recording a loss of 700grams this morning, I am so happy to be in the 60's again and next week hopefully I will be in the 68's even next Monday (or less) heheh Gosh it just feels wonderful to be in my old clothes (just) and to have my hair nice and to put makeup on.... I feel like a very attractive woman, which I haven't felt in long time

    Everyone is doing so great!

TheBear, you will burn fat much faster with more muscle. Have you done your measurements recently? I found when I first started that my weight didn't change for about 3 or 4 weeks, but I did lose a bit of size. Then it all fell off really quickly. Hopefully it will work that way for you too. My PT told me that you are really strong if you can bench press your body weight and leg press double your body weight, so you are REALLY strong! Keep it up.

I am on holiday in Cairns this week so I will be surprised if I have any kind of loss. I am just aiming not to put any back on. I reallu want to go for a run in the morning but DS2 isn't sleeping well either so it will take all my willpower to get out of bed.
I think I will just do my measurements and doing my weight again when I can use my usual scales. Will be back.

    Woot Cherished! Well done.

Berrme enjoy your holiday and just try to make good decisions when you are out.

Well my reunion went really well and I had a great time - even though I blew out big time on the weekend (mainly due to alcohol) I still lost 300g this week so I am stoked - and I see a 66 in front of my weight YAY!

EEEWWW .. I'm up some Could it be the over-eating on the malva-pud and custrard that I made?? Or the Cadbury (darn those ppl) that me and DH ravished? Or the THREE bbq's we had over the weekend???

    DARN DANG IT!!

I did however measure myself and lost 1.5cm. I still feel great and have started again this morning. I'm looking forward too class this afternoon, even though I have just regained control over my hammies. Yeah, he worked the living crudd out of me on Friday, good man Tells me I'm going to be his first female kick-boxer

    Goodwork everyone nice losses.

Mr Bear - I try to keep snack at hand, only ... no, I have no excuse .. I'm bad. I'll try harder. Great to hear you are enjoying the gym. That's fab. Don't worry about not losing weight, it'll come off.

Ashlea - I'll hold you accountible ... do you want me to come over there and hang off your shoulder
Cherished - we have a three cafe/take-away places in town. It was bound to happen sometime. Lucky for us no one got hurt, just a nice big fright. Thanks for the concern
Berrme - Enjoy your holiday, lucky fish!

Cherished: Cheers, mate. Yes, DH is doing his best. I just miss him. And I need him around to help me with my bratty toddler! Woohoo for you @ being back in the 60s... It's where I'd love to be by my 30th next year.
Cookie: Great idea @ the blog. Hope it serves its purpose. IKWYM about work sapping all your energy. Hence why I want to get new habits going before I go back to work next year. Good for you - 3.8kg
Krys: Have an awesome time away. Will PM my stats anyway.
berrme: Ditto to you - have a great time away.
Nai: Huge congrats on the loss, even in the face of a tops night out on the turps. Great job!
Nadine: Not to worry - good for you getting back into it. I envy you your PT (not just because apparently good eye candy, LOL!) but having someone push you would be really great. Great stuff @ the 1.5cm.

Well, I hardly lost anything this week, but I guess I kind of expected that.
    Weight: 76.9kg (300g loss)
    B: 98 (1cm)
    W: 93 (2cm)
    H: 105 (2cm)
I am happy with the cm lost - I have been trying to do sit-ups each day and toning leg and butt exercises... Am lacking motivation for much else still, but have been doing a little walk/run each evening when DH gets home around 8pm. It is dark by then so I don't like to stay out too long. Had a good opportunity to jump on the wii fit today because I only had bubba at home and not toddler, but gave it up for a good bit of chick lit. Ah well. Tomorrow is another day.
Good luck for the new week, everyone.

well I've only missed 4 weeks... and I'm waaay too scared too look at what's actually happened in the last 4 weeks (I did weigh-in, but then promptly stuck my head in the sand.... think i'm about 1.5kg up....).

So. I'm back (hmm actually I never really started in here ). Have started eating better again since yesterday and weighed yesterday. 8 week challenge sounds good to me... AND i'm not expressing anymore so dont' have to worry about that side of it, yay! Bring on weigh-in next week! Going to track in CK now... trying to get my head around it instead of WW online.

Have been thinking why I've fallen off wagon (try to learn from mistakes right?):
    • went back to work p/t
    • DH's bad back which he's had to varying degrees since March got heaps worse (and he looks after DS 1 day a week)... which means Belfie doing EVERYTHING else the rest of the time! Poor Belfie! Poor DH!
    • Stopped expressing but kept eating the same amount of chocolate...
    • Did hardly any exercise cos too busy (see above)
    • Got sore shoulders/back so didn't cycle because too busy (see above)

Ok so clearly my challenge is incorporating exercise into my daily routine even when busy and not reaching for comfort food when stressed. I'm gonna make that my focus this week - shall try walk with DS in stroller, think of healthy things to eat and track food.

Hope everyone else is having a good week.

belfie my lovely I have missed you So happy you are back on the wagon and up 1.5 isnt' too bad either for being off the wagon for 4 weeks. Welcome back xoxo

berme, Glorious holidays oh glorious holidays... enjoy! I remember we strated ttc on our honeymoon in Sep last year and I was trying to eat well and no alcohole etc etc... If I knew then what I knew now I would have just lived it up, that is what holidays are for while being sensible too, just not worrying about every thing that one is eating iykwim

Nai again so happy to hear your reunion went well you foxy thing

Krys are you away on a little holiday?

Nadine wowsers a gunpoint robery still sounds so scary to me! I would never dream of that happening to me Good thing you are gonna be that 1st female kick-boxer hehehe

Snacks I think a 300grams loss is still great, sounds like you are doing really well with your walks every day too

AFM I'm doing well, eating great, have done a 30 min walk and mini weight workout the last 2 days and will do another sometime today, but my weight is not really moving into the 68's as expected! which tells me one thing.. AF is due in a few day OR I could be pregnant but I thought I would keep loosing weight if I was pg??

    Hi everyone

well this week I weighed in at 75.2 - I haven't been that low for months so happy

I have been walking Lumpy to school each day, the afternoons have been too hot (yes I am a sook!) and my eating has been better. I did snack on chocolate yesterday but I got desperate! Hoever I am not snacking during the day and not eating after dinner other than a few dried fruit and nuts.

I have given myself some solid goals as well now. I have decided that once under 75, I'm going to have a lymph draining massage... hopefully it will help get rid of some of the excess fluid. Then at 70 kg I'm going to get laser on some marks on my face and then at 65kg I'm going to get laser hair removal on my bikini and underarms. That way I'll be more keen to show off my new body at the pool and beach - which is where I plan on spending most of the summer.

I'll be back with personals later, have a ripper of a headache and going to bed, good luck everyone!

Woohoo Ryatha. Great work and great goals.

I am down to 75.7kg which I am happy about. Didn't think I was going to see 75kg for a while. I will be happy to shift another 5kg but my mummy tummy seems to be hanging around longer the second time around.
