I weighed in today and I am 0.6kg down! I was really hoping to see a 66 in my weight but at 67.00 I'm sure I will see it next week! I also ran 5km in 30:05 so only 5 seconds to knock off my time until my goal - woohoo!!
Berrme - I am only 160cm so I am a shorty :D
Cherished & Bear: well done on the losses
I have my 20year High School reunion this weekend so I am happy that I am looking pretty good now (13kg down in total from when I started 4 months ago) and I have a lovely size 10 dress to wear too :leap:
-
Good job Nai  And I'm sure you are going to rock that dress ;)
I'm down too 77.9 on Saturday morning. I had a very bad weekend. I was eating and snacking the whole time :( I was mad and p'd off in a big way, so then I snack. I'm back on track today. Going to make an effort this week. Going to take my anger out in gym class ... kick that darn knee-bag till it breaks. Positive anger management.

Hi all. Congrats to all on the losses!
Here are my 2nd lot of stats:
Weight: 77.2 (1.3kg loss)
B: 99cm (3cm loss)
W: 95 (1cm loss)
H: 107 (2cm loss)
So only little losses. I need to crack down on my snacking too, Nadine. I don't snack when I'm cross, I snack when I'm bored, LOL! So must get out and exercise more!
Hope everyone else has a good, healthy week.

Well done Nai! I haven't ever managed under 32 minutes for a 5km... I will have to start trying again. :p
I had a feeling you would be little as you have a little goal weight. It is nice to know that you aren't 5ft 10 and hoping to be size 4. I am sure you will look fantastic in that new dress!
Nadine, thanks for the recipe. Haven't made it yet but it sounds great.
You definitely feel better taking your stress out on some gym equipment (or trainer) than after pigging out. I hope you are feeling less stressed soon... losing weight is hard enough as it is.
Well my trainer told me today that I really shouldn't lose much more weight. Apparently when I have claimed to be big boned all these years I was right. So the plan is to stick to moderate cardio and increase the weights sessions to try to lose the last couple of kg and tone up what is left of me.
Hope everyone else is feeling good!

Oh dear, had a big blow out on the weekend. I ate badly and didn't get to do my workout but I was active running around after the toddler and newborn.
I haven't weighed in yet so will get onto that tomorrow morning. I'm not sure if I'm going to like it but I am sticking to my workout so far.
Berrme - I am 175cm tall and have awful posture from slouching in my teenage years to be the same height as my friends. I have lots of shorter friends now too and some that are so tall, they make me feel short.
A few 20 year school reunions happening so there are a few of us the same age which is good too. Well done all the runners. That is one thing that I just cannot do.

Hi everyone! Well when I weighed in on Saturday I only had a 0.1kg loss. But I am ok with that as I am hoping to have a bit more muscle mass from exercising again plus AF arrived a week early.
Hoping for a better result this week though. Can't decide whether to cycle or aerobics tomorrow. But will see what I feel like then.
Bye!

Well a loss is a loss.
I am braindead today. Had a terrible night with ds. He is teething and the "magic potion" that I ususally use is out of stock currently :( The lady at the pharmacy says she has no idea when they will get any more. I don't want to give him panadol EVERY night, so now my sleep is suffering .. ok, sure his too. We got up at 5am this morning and I had breaky at 5:30 - I was hungry  So atm at 10:19 my tummy is positively eating itself and water is just not cutting it.
Oh I just have to say/ask this .... is it hard for you not to look at your trainer's body :shakehead: I tell you, that boy (.. he's my age) is made from granite. Good thing he is not showy, and I only see his calves and his forearms ... and I definatly look away, try really hard, when he shows me how to do crunches ..  And I'm sure I blush ... even with DH standing next to me. It's ok to look right?? RIGHT???? I can't wait for my hubby to be restored to his former glory. He had a body like that too. Oh I'm ranting *blush* *giggel* Strangely, when I was at the gym, I could not keep my eyes off my instructor and she was a SHE  I have this strange fashination (sp) with what ppl can do with their bodies. Like gymnasts or dancers. It's just awesome to think that they have EXACTLY what I have (with regards to mucsle tissue etc) but they do these stuff with it that I can only dream of.
OK, :o ending that little snippet of the wonderfully screwed up mind of me

Well I was pretty good today. Even though I had a piece of homemade cake I reduced the amount of butter in it to half and only had one piece (so yay still have one for tomorrow). The cals in it was still a bit of a killer from the sugar but went for a ride today and did aerobics so am still well down on my total. Feeling great today. Am seeing some old friends next week and would love to just lose one more kilo before then. It is so much harder now to get those bigger losses though.
Anyway enough rambling. See you all later!

my posts don't show??
Ok, there it goes - sorry
-
Nadine - you are a crack up! If someone has worked that hard to get a great body then I think by all means it is ok to stop and appreciate it ;)
Krysalyss - cake yummmmm. Excellent work on the exercise today, well done.
TheBear - how good are you taking bub out for a walk early in the morning. A sleep in (or just some solid sleep) would be heaven for me. I was up every 2 hours last night.
How is everyone doing?
-
ok - well I weighed in at 76.1 yesterday... mostly due to the gastro I had monday night. So I'll try now to keep the weight off and just eat smaller meals to let my smaller tummy adjust to it. I'm still not uber hungry and will do some light walking today to help keep my exercise up. I'll do my measurements again soon, but I am noticing that things aren't as tight on me as they were a few weeks ago so that is always a good thing!
Original weight - 78kg, current weight - 76.1, and 11.1 to go!
-
Nai :hooray: size 10 for your reunion!!!!! WOOOHOOO how great you must feel well done  There is a 15 year reunion for my class next Oct and I will either have a bub (hopefully) or be pregnant so either way heavy I think... It could be a good excuse but I will see what's happening before I RSVP that I will attend, but I would love to go and wow them like you are getting to do
Nadine you've got the right idea taking it out in gym class :D Oh and I am also facinated with what people can do with their bodies!!! especially those martial arts dudes who can almost 'fly' iykwim... just amazing!
Krys I've told you before and i will tell you again my lovely... You work out so hard and are so super dooper awsome that you deserve a piece of cake hehehhe :p
ryatha you're doing great hon, keep up the good work and taking the measurments may show a loss regardless of gastro ;)
AFM I was jumping up and down this morning as I saw a flicker of 68 but then settled for a 69.1kg WOOOHOOO I've lost 3.3kg's so far YAY
-
well measurements are a smidgen smaller, only about 7 cm lost in total, but I am feeling like I have more energy and don't want to eat as much. I also have a hypnosis tape that DH and I are going to listen to tonight in bed before we go to sleep - it is about 'thinking yourself skinny' We'll see how it goes.
oh oh oh just remembered...I also did 16 points on the wii fit today... pretty impressed with myself and no snacking between meals  I'm getting there!
Cherished1 - well done on the 3.3 lost - that is great!
-
BLAH!! Sleep has not improved and this morning I had to give BOTH my kids a bath, because dd had a little accident and ds ... well he shyted all over the place and then grabed his "boyhood" and swatted the rest of the place with shyt. *sigh*
I'm not as motivated :( as I was, I even skipped yesterday's class because I could not keep my eyes open. I had a sleep and felt better, but it's back too feeling cruddy today. BUT I promised myself that tomorrow I'm going to work that class and give my 150%, if I can wake up before class starts :P
I am desperatly trying not to cheat on the eating front. I am definatly eating less, but when I'm tired, my willpower is not that strong. I snacked a jam and cheese sandwich last night :( at 21:00 :( Not my best performance
DH regressing into a light depression is not helping. Him not dieting anymore and not exercising with me is also not helping - still his neck acting up, says he  but he is lazy and needs to get his mindset right again.
Anyway, I'll get over it and do it on my own, with support of you guys ;)
Great job everyone!!
-
Cherished - great loss! That is so awesome! And thanks for the lovely words :)
Ryatha - 7cm is great! Good work!
Nadine - Don't worry about skipping. I really think part of this journey has been me learning to listen to my body more about what it needs. If it needs sleep then its needs sleep. Plus sleep is important for keeping all of your body mechanisms (including metabolism) working well. I try to have at least 2 early nights a week and think of it as helping my weight loss mission.
-
Hi guys. After a week of laziness & 20 hours in the car in 2 days to pick DH up, eating macca's & kababs I've somehow lost another 2 kgs! Go me.
Getting back into it now. Currently weaning DS down to 1 feed a day atm too :( So a bit of tiredness & stress, but hoping it eventually leads to more sleep.
Sounds like you guys are going great! Go us!!
