Hi everyone! Hope you are all well. After feeling really crappy from my plateau I have rejuvenated and feeling a bit better. I figure even if I don't lose any more weight I still have to maintain what I have lost so far so back on my bike so to speak
Still keeping up the exercise. The eating has been a bit hard with lots of xmas celebrations around but our main celebration (sinterklaas) is over so should get a bit better now. But I wish soccer didn't have xmas breaks.

Anyway I hope you are all feeling really motivated. Can't wait to hear all of your updates. Am thinking I might start posting my eating diary here so I have to be a bit more accountable for what I am eating. Will start that tomorrow morning if you all won't find it really annoying.

Sorry Krysalyss - I missed my weigh in yesterday as I had the Wiggles concert (poor excuse I know!) - I probably won't get to weigh in until Friday but I think I have gained this week as it was my birthday on the weekend and I did lots and lots of celebrating. I had better get my act together and kick my own butt for the rest of the week!!

    Hi everyone,
I had such a crap week the other week - hardly any exercise and eating really badly. That's why the gain - it wasn't a mistake. I have been slightly better behaved this week, though my heart wasn't really in it because I thought there'd be no chance I'd make my goal...
But after having lost again without doing a whole lot of exercise, I reckon if I really step it up I just might be able to get to 70kg by 2010... That's my new goal.
Krys: I would be really interested to see your eating plan - sometimes I wonder whether I am really eating healthily when I think I am, IYKWIM. Plus, it'd give me some ideas because I am starting to get a bit bored with my diet.
Nai: Happy birthday for the weekend

Hello to everyone else - sorry, am in a bit of a rush to get off to bed but will try to catch up on what everyone's up to tomorrow.
    Cheerio!

Where's your eating diary, Krys? :P
I had a shocker today - Natty's little playgroup friend's birthday party... we both overindulged! I have been out for a run to try to make up for it, LOL!

Well done Cherished, at least someone is still losing weight.

Nai, the wiggles are never a poor excuse. A belated Happy Birthday to you.

Krysalyss, I really hope you can budge those last couple of kilos, it is soooo frustrating when you plateau. You are very welcome to post your food diary on here.

Snacks, you can get back on track. 70kg is totally doable.

Well I keep forgetting to weigh myself before I eat in the morning.

This morning I was 65kg but that was after breakfast and coffee and a big glass of water.... so i don't really know whether I have lost any as my other weigh ins have been before food/ drink. I am down a cm on my hips though, so that is good. I think I will just wait until next week to officially weigh in again.

We got the boys a trampoline for xmas, and because we are going away we got it early so they could have a play before we left. I have been told that 10 minutes of jumping is the equivalent of a 30 minute run, so my plan is to jump and jump and jump until we go up to Cairns next Saturday. If I haven't gotten down to 64 before we leave it just won't happen this year. It will be a challenge because I have DH's xmas party tonight, my PT xmas party tomorrow night and I had my work xmas party last night. Why did we pick xmas time to do this??

Welll I weighed in today instead of Monday (so it is really a week and a half's weight loss) and I weighed in at 64.1 mg: I can't believe it! I lost 0.9 with all of the parties etc and when I was being so careful the previous few weeks it took me 3 weeks to lose 1kg. I don't get it

Krys - where's your eating diary?

Snacks - If you make up for your blowouts on the other days you will be fine.

Cherished - well done, you devil you I'm sure you will reach your goal by Christmas

Berrme - the trampoline sounds like fun (well more fun than running anyway!). I think you would weigh less - I find that food can add half a kilo!

I have put on 300g but at least I finished my 30 day challenge on the Wii so now I start the workouts on medium setting so am stepping it up. DD2 is waking up nearly every hour overnight so I'm tired but I need to stay focussed. Maybe with DH home for the next 5 weeks I can get him to motivate me.

Well done on the losses everyone. I agree that everyone has done so well.

berrme - go the tramp! I lost 7kg jumping on my mini tramp (this is going back 12 years ago now).

2 weeks - we can do it!!

Krys - where's your eating diary?
He he! Well I didn't actually get slack but have had the worst week at work. Just when I think it can't get worse there it does. I found out that people I thought were really nice were *****ing about me. Do your job people and stop the whinging! Anyway so I have said I will take on x amount of (unpaid) work that is their work if everyone will just leave me alone as I don't care about their stupid little games anymore. 7 weeks to go! Doing their job sucks up more time from me but means I don't lie in bed at night stressing.

So anyway I have been doing pretty well.

    Wednesday:
B'fast: weetbix, honey, light, soy milk
Lunch: 1/2 sandwich - grilled eggplant, avocado, tomato on turkish
Dinner: Laksa with light carnation 'coconut' milk and lots of vegies
Snacks: coffee with light soy and one sugar
    Exercise: none

    Thursday:
B'fast: weetbix, honey, light, soy milk
Lunch: Toasted avocado and tomato sandwich with mayo
    Dinner: Stir fry
    Snacks: Coffee and a cookie
Exercise: Jogged to work and active work day

    Friday:
    B'fast: weetbix, light soy, honey
    Lunch: Salad sandwich
Dinner: Mushroom risotto using light carnation milk and a sprinkle of parmesan.
Snacks: Piece of birthday cake (for my niece)
    Exercise: Indoor soccer

Will post todays tomorrow etc. Thanks girls for being so supportive. I weighed in yesterday and have broken my plateau. I weighed in at 64.9kg. A miracle! I was hoping for something in the 65s but didn't even dare to hope to see a 64.something. I also lost 2cms around my waist. So am very happy with finally getting past it and most importantly not giving up despite the frustration. Would have been harder without the support here though.

I have an engagement party tonight and bought a dress from that dotti shop (haven't been in there since I was a teenager). I saw a dress I really liked but their largest size was a 12 and I thought the sizes would have been quite little. But I walked out of there with a slinky size 10. Woo hoo! I have never been a size 10 before.

Anyway enough about me! You all sound like you are going so well. A lot of nice losses about.
Berrme - tramps are awesome! I wish I had one. Happy jumping!
Nai - nice loss! Don't worry - I don't get how it works either.
Tinsel - 300g could be fluid or anything. Big hugs. And happy workouts! I hope you like the medium workouts!
    Snacks - kids parties...yum!
Cherished - you are going so well! Fingers crossed for monday!

Cherished: Happy anniversary! Hope you have a lovely dinner out. I am sure if you are careful the day after it will make up for a splash-out dinner. And the B&B should have some lovely fruit out at breakfast! GL for your weigh-in.
Berrme: Did you get one of those cool no-springs trampolines? I think they are awesome, but it's kind of a rite of passage to fall off or get bitten by a trampoline as a child, isn't it? LOL. I remember jumping off ours from a great height straight onto the grass... we did some crazy things as kids. Happy jumping! Hope the boys enjoy it too - no doubt they will.
Nai: Congratulations on the great loss! I don't really get it either... but then some days I feel fat and some days not so fat and I don't get that either. It doesn't always have to do with what I've eaten or how active I've been.
Tinsel: Not to worry, mate. The others are right, 300g could just be a case of bad timing. You'll be right this week. Congrats for making it to the next stage on the wii! Sucks about having to wake up so often overnight. Natty was like that. Phoebs is much better, but I still remember the complete exhaustion of when Nat was this age. I was a blubbering mess every day. So I think you are doing so fantastically, dealing with the lack of sleep the way you are
Krys: Ah, so sorry about the work situation! That sucks. I worked in a miserable environment before I had Natty and I know how emotionally draining it can be. I hope things are kind of resolved and that it gets better for you.
Wooooohoooo @ walking out with a size 10 dress! Awesome
Nice work with the eating. I snack a lot more than you... hence my name I guess. This challenge for me should've been called operation snack less. LOL!

I bought myself some smaller clothes yesterday - just a couple of pairs of shorts that were on special. I hadn't wanted to buy any clothes yet because I want to lose quite a bit more weight, but most stuff was just getting too big to be comfy. So that's got to be a good sign Also I've gotten a couple of really nice comments from friends I haven't seen for a little while, saying that I look like I've lost weight. I need to hear stuff like that! You must know that I've given you girls and this thread all the credit for it - have said I've gotten essential support from these friends I've met online. So, Thanks!

    Hi chickies.

Awwww Snacks you are so sweet don't forget that we get loads of support from you too... I know I wouldn't be loosing weight if it wasn't for you girls too It's nice to get a few new things and especially if they are on special

Tinsel any goal achieved is a great feeling so hang onto your wii victory instead of the 300gram gain, is there a chance it could be muscle anyway?

berme YAY for trampolines and a new form of exercise is sure to drop a bit of weight off before you go away

Nai OMG 64.1 is FANTASTIC!!! so excited for you and just reading your post has given me inspiration to keep going so 'thank you'

Krys I love dotti but you do tend to need to be a little slimmer to look good in their clothes and luck y you walking out with a size 10!!! I bet you look beautiful

AFM I am not so close to my Christmas goal weight now this morning I have gained 600 grams from my lowest point during the week which was 66.6.... Now I am 67.2kg I think I managed to eat rather well but on Friday I didn't drink enough water and I had 2 glasses of wine on Friday, Sat AND last night too and we were eating out etc, so that is surely the problem So annoyed but it seemed ok at the time like I wasn't over doing it. Anyway NO MORE drinks for me and this week I am going to have to workout every day and be really good to reach my goal and to stay motivated... In the past it is times like these that I would be close to just giving up but I will keep on going and give this next week everything I've got, I'm sure seeing results next Monday on the scales will keep me going.

Krys - woot! on the size 10 dotti dress! I'm sure you look hot!

Tinsel - I think it was probably bad timing as well. Try to weigh in on a different day and see if you get a different result.

Snacks - It's so nice to hear that others can see a difference. It gives your motivation that extra little boost.

Cherished - keep going - you can do it! You may have eaten food with more salt than usual as have retained some fluid from the weekend. See if it goes down later in the week.

I finally got my birthday present and have been riding it around all day yesterday - check me out (I hope this works) Login | Facebook

    1 Week till Christmas!

Woohoo girls, let's put in a huge effort to do the best we can before christmas, we can do it and will feel much better about ourselves if we know we have given it all we can

AFM I got totally excited last night when I realised that if I work out every day and eat well I could loose 200 grams per day and 'could' reach my Christmas goal weight an loose that 7kg!!! (((jump up and down))) so I will be counting down the days and hoping to see at least a 200gram loss every day on the scales Oh and today (a week later) I am back to being the devil at 66.6kg again YAY

Nai great pics hon! thanks for sharing, looks like you have loads of fun riding

I weighed in and no loss this week Oh well, it had to happen sooner or later I guess - this is the first week I have lost nothing. It has been a tough week as DD2 hasn't been sleeping so I have been up most nights and been too tired to exercise. Plus we have had a few Christmas functions so I have been eating and drinking a bit more than usual.

My last weigh in before we go away will be on Monday so I will try to be good over the weekend and lose that last little bit for my goal for Christmas!

I was wondering where everyone was, and then I realised that all my subscribed threads were gone so I just wasn't being notified of new posts.

Looks like some mixed results in here.

Nai, looks like you will get to 64... well done!

Snacks, it isn't a springless trampoline but it has the safety net. I was joking about how woosy kids are today needing a net, but when I am on it with the boys I am very pleased the net is there. They would have hit the ground many times already.

Tinsel, I hope the 300g disappears quickly for you. I will have to try for a 7kg jumping loss after xmas I think. Although only weighing 56kg sounds a bit scary to me so I might just aim for 2 or 3kg more next year.

Cherished, good luck with 200g a day, you are a stronger woman than me!!

Krys, well done with the size 10 dress. I borrowed a dress off a friend on the weekend that was a 10. The bit I was really pleased about though, was that the only things stopping me from fitting into her size 8 dresses were my boobs! I could get into them, just couldn't do up the last 5cm of zip. Damb boobs!

Anyway, it looks like 64.4kg is as low as I will get. I am reasonably happy with that after the weekend of food and drink I had though. I will check my weight next week just in case but I think this is it. So overall...
I lost 2.1kg, 1cm off my bust, 3.5cm off my waist, and 5cm off my hips. I have even finally lost another 0.5cm off my thighs!!!!!

I bought some shorts yesterday. They look pretty good even if I do say so myself. I just have to get used to my legs being out now since I have been wearing long shorts for years.

Good luck for the next week girls! You can do it.

Hi all, I have been scary busy of late, so I'm just popping in. Sorry for no persies. (Except, NICE WHEELS, Nai!) I am really going to try to weigh in next week, but I'm not going to see a favourable result I think! Have done pretty much ZERO exercise this last week which is going to set me back a long way. I will have to do my best to make up for it after Christmas.
    My stats on Monday were:
    Weight: 72.5
    B:94
    W:85
    H:99
which I was stoked with, but think I am going to have undone it with my lazy week. I haven't even been paying much attention to what I've been eating. But I am resigned to it, so won't be upset or surprised by a crap result tomorrow.
Hoping to definitely pop in before Christmas, but if I just don't make it, I wish you all a wonderful time wherever you are and whatever you have planned. Peace.
Hope everyone feels brilliant about themselves - as far as I can tell you all very much deserve to!

today I am 66.3kg so only 900 grams to go before I reach my Christmas Challenge goal

Snacks Merry Christmas to you too hon, and you might surprise yourself on the scales, with that much running around you may see a loss.

Nai goodluck tomorrow in your weigh in, I am sure you will see a loss seeing there wasn't any movement last time

Berrme you go girl getting those legs out I am also loving having my legs out in shorts and dresses which finish above the knee... In fact yesterday I bought a beautiful white dress to wear on chirstmas day and I can't wait to put it on, do my hair and make up etc and I think I will be feeling wonderful especially as I am sure I will be in the 65's by then.

Krys how are you going? As this thread is coming to an end I wanted to thank you for getting it started as it's been super motivating for me especially when I felt like giving up last weekend when I had that gain I will take my measurements tomorrow so that I can post how much I have lost etc... I've also been thinking about what my next motivating challenge will be I've decided that my next goal will be for Valentines Day as dh and I are going away for the weekend... I considered Easter but it's just that little bit further away and smaller goals that aren't too far away keep me more motivated, even 12 weeks was a fair length of time to keep focused (for me anyway because I want everything 'right now') So I might start a thread about Valentines day where I can post and keep myself motivated, I'd love you all to jump on board if you feel up for it

I'm looking forward to seeing how much combined weight we have lost between us over the 12 weeks, Congratulations to you all
