Thanks ladies for your encouragement. I have had a bit of an inner-whinge to myself, but tonight I am feeling more refreshed. I KNEW that I would gain this week, I tried to reason with myself that it was bound to happen - you can't ALWAYS lose every week. It's not challenging if that would happen, does this make sense? It's still crushing to have been 1.7kg away & now I'm 2.7kg & the time is ticking down until we head back to Aus. 3 weeks today. That is basically 1kg per week.
Krystals _ WTG on stopping yourself with the bread. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with bread, but I have learned to really cut it back. I'm lucky if I eat one slice of bread per fortnight. I do consume carbs though in the variety of rice & the odd pasta dish that I make. Maybe once a fortnight I cook using carbs as the base. Tonight I made a delicious baked chicken risotto & it was really tasty but oh so filling! I feel very blaoted now. I used to eat bread every single day, but it did awful things to my stomach. I was constantly bloated, went from one extreme to the other in the toilet department & just overall fell 'odd' after eating it. It also happens to me eating really creamy foods, like garlic prawns, or also fried foods. Take-out fries. So I have learned to live without them because for the 2 minutes it takes to eat it & enjoy it, I would spend hours afterward paying for it. Oh I had a coeliacs test, but it came back negative! lol. The walking you do with Bubs sounds really great! It's like a weight-class all at the same time!

So I had a wonderful chicken, avocado, spinach and mushroom sandwich for lunch, which was meant to be my bread for the day, but then I made a honey and oat loaf 'for hubby' but I took the crust. And then I had another piece. BUT THEN I STOPPED! Which is a good thing, and an achievement in itself.
