Just found an old thread that was great - The couch to 5 km.

The thread includes a link to a website to show you how to go from the couch to running 5km in just 9 weeks. The program includes walking and running interval training and a download for your MP3 player with the program on it (music and cues on when to run and walk).

I thought that I would give it a go - I have never been able to run but always wished that I could - no better time than the present to try and with it all mapped out.

I encourage everyone to give it a go.
