Oh I forgot to mention one of my friends has started WW again, so I might go and join up again as well. It's on Tues nights so that should be fairly easy for me to make each week.
I am doing WW and BF - I have lost over 15kg and weigh less than I did before I conceived DD1 so I am pretty happy with the program![]()

I'm another who doesn't lose weight breastfeeding. With DS I lost all but 2kg of my preg weight and just got stuck no matter what I did. I fell preg with DD before he weaned so haven't been able to try and lose more.
Now this time, I've lost all but 2kg again after the birth of DD. So I have 4kg to lose to get back to pre-preg weight and I want to lose 3 more on top of that to get to my ideal weight.
Those doing the lite n easy, are you doing breakfast, lunch and dinner? I had a look on their website and it seems very expensive.
I lost my baby weight on the Tony Ferguson Program. I didn't buy the pack just read a friends book and got tips from her and it worked so well. The best part is you don't need to do strenuous exercise to lose the weight, but I would go for a 30 minute walk most days if I could.
It's a low carb high protein diet, but you eat every two hours so I was never ever hungry which was the most important thing for me, I hate being hungry! And you can have toast/cereal for breakfast which is the only time I would really miss the carbs, plus you have a day off every week when you can eat whatever you want!
Now 30 weeks preganant again and I've gained it all back (I blew out last time too, plus I retain lot of fluid) so I plan on buying the plan and doing it properly after bubby is born.
Dont shoot me...but i think i am one of the lucky ones that seems to watch the weight fall off whilst b/f....im currently 58kgs...wanting to get to 55kgs...thats not to say it has all just fallen off. Ive found my body looses weight when baby is around 3 mths...then around 6 mths...rest is up to me...
....me too...i really have to tame myself. I have bad sweet cravings...esp at night. Lately at night ive been having icey blocks...rather than chocolate, or a biscuit or something. Ive also stopped baking cakes, slices etc...once a fortnight maybe, but not every 3rd day like i was doing. I dont have any sugar in coffee or tea (although sometimes i am guilty of adding the odd teaspoon). My DH bought me a vibration platform in Nov. I used it right up until xmas and i defnietly lost those 2-3kgs that for me were not budging no matter what i did...10 mins a day is all i do. I admit im not an exercise person,i hate exercising, as much as i would love to do a pump class, as much as i would love to see myself taking a jog, its just not me, i know i wouldnt stick to something like that. Standing on the machine for 10 mins a day works for at this time of my life...maybe the swimming laps or the netball night games will come into my life when children are older...I tend to eat a lot in the evening
GL....
What's a vibration platform, mbear??
MB - I haven't been 58kgs since I was in my early 20's!!! I reckon I'd need a lot of plastic surgery to get down below 60kgs. You look fab btw
Hi Ladies, hope you don't mind if I jump on the wagon too? I put on about 15kg through pregnancy and I am about 67/68 now and would really like to get to at least 62 but hopefully 60. More importantly I want to get fit and tone again. BFing hasn't really helped. I was working really hard doing two big walks everyday but now it is just too hot to do that here. (40 degrees at 6pm still tonight).
I am another that is not loosing weight BFing but I have PCOS so I knew it would be harder anyway. I might look into WW and their BFing program - but realistically $$ are tight so I may not be able to do it.
I might look into ww too although my budget is tight too.
I did it!! I joined WW online yey. They are having a promotion for 3 months atm so I went for it.
Oooh, Bek I'm gonna go check it out too...
My DH is on a health kick at the moment and is trainging 3 nights a week, watching his diet etc. He's dropping the weight like you wouldn't believe and I don't want to be the fatty boomba of the family! LOL
Once DD starts school I'm going to try going to the gym, but not sure how it'll work around the boys.
Bek how does WW online work?
Eluned - WW online is still the points system but it has a calculator that helps you keep track of your diet. I haven't had much to do with WW before so I can't compare the online to the real life WW. There seems to be a lot of information, recipes and calculators etc.
I figure at the very least I've got a visual reference to see what I've eaten in the day. Plus there is some information about breastfeeding and dieting.
Thanks Bekz...sounds interesting...I've been using Calorie King to record my food intake the last few days. CK is free so I'm wondering if it's worth joining up on WW online...might be if they can provide recipes and food suggestions...![]()
whoot- week one of diet and lost 2.6kg!!!!
bring on week two!!!
I forgot all about Calorie King!! Thank you for the reminder Eluned
det - wow that is great.
Eluned - I forgot about CK too.
