Since Feb 13, I have lost about 3.4kg. I think it's more but I have AF at the moment and my legs are aching with fluid. So I guess it's a bit more lost now but the scales aren't saying.

At that level of loss I would stick with what you are doing. 1kg a week is excellent progress and about what you should be aiming for.

Breakfast is often nothing for me, I'm too busy rushing to get the kids to school. Yes, I know it's the most important meal of the day! If I remember, I grab a banana and eat it in the car.

Lunch is usually a toasted sandwich with chicken and avocado or ham, cheese and tomato. Or I'll have a salad roll or a Subway roasted chicken sub. I usually eat lunch around 12 noon.

Dinner is early because we eat with the kids, anywhere between 5.30-6.30pm. Dinner is a bit tricky because DH struggles to hold weight on so I often cook with cream or butter and include carbs such as rice or potato with the meal. Staples are pasta, roast, steak and veges, sometimes curry and rice. The kids favourite dinner is tacos. I am aware that my portions are far bigger than they should be and I often eat as much as my very active DH.

After dinner I like something sweet, maybe a small bowl of ice cream, a couple of squares of chocolate or a bikkie.

I drink 1-2 cans of coke zero a day, an occasional beer or glass of champagne and lots of water.

I need to lose 10-15kgs... and start eating breakfast and down size my portions!!
