Great thread Mr S! You're doing an awesome job with your weight loss! Keep it up!

    My reasons are;
    To increase my energy levels
    Increase my fitness
Improve my health and reduce my chances of coronary heart disease, diabetes and other medical conditions directly related to obesity
To set a good example for DD
To set a good example for my patients
To be able to walk into any shop and purchase clothes off the rack
    To improve my self confidence
To look good (because, lets face it, as selfish and shallow as it sounds, it's important to everyone they look their best)
To improve my back (I have slipped discs which are affected by the extra weight I am carrying) and other injuries.

Marydean, your treatment involved the evil prednisone as well, didn't it?
Yep and it was by far the worst part of the chemo.

    My reasons for losing weight...

*I don't want to die too soon, I have too much to live for
*I want to be able to take a walk without stopping for 30 minutes to catch my breath
*I want people to tell me how great I look instead of telling me how much 'bigger' i've got
*I want DD to see me as the skinny mum, instead of fat mum
*I want to love the way I look and not be embarrassed to go out
*I want to wear the size 14 dress that I was able to wear 10 years ago

    The list can go on!

I just want to be happy, and losing weight will make me the happiest! I wish everyone good luck on their 'journey to lose weight'. I know I am going to need it!

you have all the support you need here on BB anyone can do it also a tip as you lose weight you need to tackle the emotions that make you overeat and deal with them once and for all otherwise you will fall back to your old ways once again

    My reasons:
    - Because I am vain, I want to look good and wear fashionable clothes.
    - Because my job requires me to loose weight and be within my healthy weight range, and I would like to keep my job when my maternity leave ends.
    - Because I want DH to loose weight (and stop snoring), and I know from experience that he does when I do.
    - Because I like myself better when I am thinner.

plus a million more little reasons, but those are my top ones (particularly the vanity one )

because I am so miserable being the way I am, because I am convinced that my DP no longer finds me attractive being 20kgs heavier than I used to be, because I dont have the energy to keep up with my kids, because I can already see the way my eating is affecting my childrens eating, because I am sooo sick of being the "fat" one, because I a have literally nothing to wear anymore, and mainly because I am so very sad.

I only have a couple of kgs to lose, but it's for my own self esteem. I was quite slender and toned before having kids and I loved my body. A gym membership has given me my sanity and self esteem back. It is the best money I have ever spent and I intent to continue going until I am old and wrinkly

I PLAN on loosing weight because I'm unhappy with myself for getting this big (I haven't been this size since year 12 which is 8 years ago now), I want to look hot in a pair of bikini, I want to be able to keep up with my boys as they grow older!

I'm losing weight so I can be a sexy mumma!

    Loss

I want to feel confident and not just talk about loosing weight, but look back and actually say I have done it. I have 7 more KG to go for another goal I have made for myself.

Who has done something about loosing weight??
    And can now see results?
