I like it, but the way DH has set up the TV makes it near impossible to use

We bought ourselves one in the Christmas sales just gone. We've got Fit Plus, sports, sports resort, Fitness First and the Active one. Y'think we went overboard much?

So far I've used it most days for at least 30 mins but usually closer to or just over an hour. I haven't really tried sports resort or opened the active one. I figure I can switch between the games when they start to get a bit boring. It's great cause I fit it in around DS's sleep and avoid housework

My fave game atm is the cycling and I also love the obstacle course but haven't tried everything in Fit Plus yet.

I love sports resort. I decided I am just going to buy one.. A few stores have great sales on either Wii Fit or the Wii fit plus so I think I will go for the Wii fIt and board and then buy the Wii Fit plus

Whats the difference between the 2?

I have one & to be honest i was getting a bit bored with it because it's the same thing over & over. We've now bought the step extender thingos to make it more of a workout. I think in combination with another game, Active or Fitnes First it can be great.

Nic I'm not 100% cause we only have the Fit Plus but I think they're basically the same except the Fit Plus has an extra section of games/exercises to do that the normal Fit doesn't. I'd just get the Fit Plus if I were you.

I've got Wii Fit & Wii Fit Plus and I agree - just buy Wii Fit Plus, I do think it's better but still reckon you spend too much time stuffing around with all the different screens and buttons. Still good fun and some exercise tho!

I think the Wii fit plus supercedes the Wii Fit original disc - I had the first one for a year and then got the plus for Christmas and when I first put the disc in, it downloaded the info and I havent used the original disc since.

The extension for the step is great. I do between 10 and 30 mins on the free step most days and it really gets the heart (and sweat) going. WIth just the balance board, it almost seems flat after using the lift thing. I have found that it's harder to get top scores on the step aerobic games, you seem to be a split second slower in getting the 'perfect' over the 'ok'. Has anyone else found that ?

I've lost 6.5kg this year on the Wii and watching what I eat. I have seriously had a cadbury/mars/lindt etc free year thus far. Until this year I worked part time in a service station, so too much temptation there. I am a single parent, so I can't get out at night for walking and walking with the kids doesn't really work as exercise if you're trying to build up some speed.

    Cheers,

I'd love to get one but it's all about the $$... a friend has it and she LOVES it, gets on every day while her girls are at school.

Good luck with it, hope you have fun.
