I don't like the commercial air freshners, they smell to chemical-ly for me! I use Enjo, so don't have a bleach smell or anything. I've started using Method's All purpose spray, simply because psychologically I need my house to SMELL clean! They've got a few different scents, but I use the cucumber one, its so fresh!

Apart from that, I have heaps of scented candles in the house from PartyLite - they don't have alcohol or nasty chemicals like others. A bit more expensive, but definitely worth it, they last for ages! They have an air diffuser that they say lasts 60 days - I bought mine in January and it's STILL going!

Ooh, my friend loves PartyLite! I might have to get her to show me some brochures

fresh air (windows open on weekends - doors open when I'm home), rubbish out every night, dishes done regularly, incense burning when I'm home

bathroom gets cleaned every day (toilet & sink), cat litter cleaned out (she rarely poos in it but when she does it is cleaned out straight away - otherwise litter replaced every weekend)

    :yeahthat:

I recently bought some candles from LeReve and love them. I have a big house and the windows and doors are open all day long, so we get plenty of fresh air, but I love the smell of scented candles.

:yeahthat: me too, open windows when home (& back door when not cold), rubbish out daily.

I have an open plan lounge room that enters the kitchen so i love the scented candles from Dusk, the ones in the glass jar with lid as i find they last me almost a year for one candle (although the latest ones are a smaller size). Wish they would bring back the blueberry fragrance

In the bathroom i have the window open slightly during the daytime & turn on the plug-in fragrance diffuser for a few hours each day. Also in the toilet i have a fragrance blue loo block in the cistern.

In the bedroom i have a ceramic bowl with potpourri which i add fragrance oil to once in a blue moon.

And in my linen cupboard & my underwear drawer i put the sample strips of parfum (that you are meant to rub on your wrists) that are in magazines IYKWIM !!

I open all the windows first thing every morning, the house is kept 'open' until after dinner, rubbish out every afternoon, dishes done every night, so theres no bad smells building up overnight when the house is shut. We try to keep the house 'fresh'.

Mmmmmm, vanilla scented candles. I have about 10 spread around my house, and I just light them if I need to. Incense sometimes too.

Hate those spray air fresheners, especially the ones that spray at intervals It can't be healthy to breathe in those chemicals every 9, 15 or 25 minutes
