There are hundreds of ants all over my laundry floor this morning, and in the dirty washing basket! Gross!! They are coming in under the laundry door so I put some baby powder on the floor along the bottom of the door and that's stopped them from coming inside, so now it's just the ones stuck inside I have to contend with...I've put some Ant Rid down but they dont seem too interested in it.

As someone else said they are looking for water (or more specifically moisture). If you can disrupt their trail that helps too.
