Just wondering if anyone has used the carpet cleaning machine and products that wollies, BigW etc hire and are they any good? My DD's room is gross and I have a few rugs and a spot in the lounge room but don't want to get the professionals in as they were here not long ago.
We got one just before Anelise was born to do our lounges & luunge room floor. I have no complaints about the lounges as they came up awesome, but the carpet in the lounge room has stains that are coming back through even though we thought they'd gone. That's no biggie though and we're planning to hire one again soon.
All the best for your carpet cleaning
we hired one from franklins and it did a great job, the water that came out of the machine was filthy so imagine how much dirt was in the carpets! Speaking of carpet cleaning we really need to do ours again..
We hired the "Rug Doctor" one from Bunnings a few weeks ago and bougth all the necessary products we wanted like stain remover, upholstery cleaner etc, all up, it cost us less than $80 including 24 hours hire & the products and we have LOTS leftover for next time - We were very very impressed with how well it worked and will definitely be going back to get it again next time we need to!
I'm gonna go against the grain, but we were less than impressed. For the cost of all the prducts you have to buy.....it would have been far easier to pay someone. And the carpet would have been drier.
JMO though.
How wet is the carpet after you use the machines? I am interested in hiring one. I have never walked on/touched carpet after its being professionally cleaned, so I don't have a comparison.
