Cleaning an eggshell underlay

DD's nappy has come off in her sleep & she's still snoring... on my bed!

How do I wash my underlay? Its only a foam kmart cheapy, so I'm not sure I'd trust it in the washing machine & I don't think that'd work too good, since it won't really hold water to wash IYKWIM.

So should I just hang it on the line & hose it??

Spray it with some gentle soap then hose it and squeeze it till it rinses clear. Don't twist it when squeezing or it will tear. Just hang it out to dry. Make sure it's completely dry before putting on your bed or it will get moldy.
