I am sorting things all the time to get rid of since we live in a shoebox, and I don't know whether to get rid of some baby stuff. Some of it is boys' suits and things that Rhino has worn as a baby, but Mack has not, and its not sentimental stuff that rhino wore. We don't want to have any more kids, so it is in a couple of bags to take to the hospital aux op shop, but for some reason, I don't want to. Do I keep it a bit longer?
The same will go for all the other boy clothes as Mack gets bigger. I pack the "sentimental" stuff seperately, so why can't I get rid of the other stuff?
As for the girl's clothes, I have been giving everything (not the sentimental bits) to the Man's eldest (not the Boy) as he and his DP have just had a baby girl. Pretty much all baby girl stuff is gone, I have some more nappy boxes waiting to go. And bigger clothes too. I have been packing all her smaller clothes away, now she is in size five and six.
Do I just purge everything now, or keep holding it? I think I want to keep it to hold on to that whole baby era, and remember when they were little. I have been thinking again about what we lost or may have lost from our tree change move, and its been making me feel sad.
