Maybe you're waiting for a grandson to give it too - are you channelling my MIL?! lol!

I was never very sentimental about the kids clothes so once they outgrew them & I had time to sort them, they went, either to someone else or to charity.

When I'm unsure about purging something, I put it in a packing box and leave it where it's accessible. It looks messy which is annoying. This makes it easier to decide to give away. If it's still hanging around months later and I still can't give it up, I keep it. I have done this just recently with the baby toys. Of course, as soon as they were in the box, the kids started playing with them again. It's been good though as I have a few that I will return to the rotation and the rest I can get rid of when I have time.

    You sound like me

I am very doubtful that we will have anymore children so i went through all of DDs stuff which there is A LOT, a whole JUMBO spacebag, large spacebag and a medium all filled from 0000-0 that i could manage to cull 20 items as the rest are too 'sentimental'.. I dont understand how people can give away their baby stuff without falling apart

I am holding onto all the baby stuff until I have no more room. It's too precious still.

Thank you ladies. I think I might hold on to the things for now.
