Lol I think that's how our thing started... I was pg within a month of us moving into our first place together lol, so it just became habit for him to do it - he always says, 'You're not pregnant any more, you can start doing it!' and I just leave it until he cracks and does it himself lolololol
    I'm eeeevil!

    We have a divide.

DH likes gardening and I have a black thumb: DH mows the lawns, does most of the weeding and tends the vegetables.

I enjoy cooking and baking so do most of it, but when I really can't be bothered DH will or we get a take-out. When I'm very, very ill my mum comes to look after me so she cooks.

We both clean the house, as does DS. He makes the most mess so he can learn how to use a dustpan and brush!

I can wallpaper and paint, but DH likes doing that so does most of it. He also does the plumbing, fitting, central heating... he loves it. I don't really like the muddy cellar so he gets to play all he wants.

The cars are both DH's so he maintains them. I don't have a car so get out of it! (If I borrow his car to go away for a month I do look after it though.)

"My" jobs are changing the sheets on the beds (DH really struggles with this), the food shopping (which I do with DS and we enjoy) and the washing (which I am obsessive about: DH does his fishing stuff but I maintain control otherwise).

We both go out to work so we both share most jobs in the house.

I was just thinking about this yesterday - DH cooks on the BBQ and cleans it, but he didn't clean it last week and bought BBQ wipes home from work on Tuesday night so I cleaned it on Wednesday, thinking "hang on I've been conned into doing his job" Other than BBQ duties, the only thing that's divided by sex is bfing DS2 and that 'cause I got the boobs!

I cook & clean most of the time, DH vacuums, mops and washes up if I ask. I don't often ask him to hang out the washing 'cause I've got my system and I actually enjoy hanging the washing out, but he'll do it if I ask.

ETA: I do the kitty litter most of the time. I got out of it when TTC and in 2WW and when pg, but after the boys were born Dh was happy that I could do it again. Unfortunatly it did not become a habit for DH to do it - I had to remind him during those times.

No- except when stength is required as my H is stronger than I am.

Outside I put out the bins & mow the lawns most of the time but he digs holes, cuts wood and we both do veggie gardening.

Inside I generally do all the washing and cooking but that's because I am home (and prefer it done my way). We share the cleaning. He does the cat litter.
