Do you fix/service things or replace?

For me it depends on whether it's cheaper to fix or replace the item.

We try to fix. At the moment, my dishwasher is sitting in the garage and I have a big empty space in the kitchen while DH tries to repair it. It's handy having a tradie husband

we're the same as chloe and tend to buy the better brands so therefore tend to fix if need be.
we did have our bosch washing machine fixed but after it broke down again we replaced it, our miele dishwasher has been repaired a few times because its a good brand and was cheaper to fix
