    another white vinegar fan here.
    L if they're already clean give 'em a go with bicarb instead of washing powder.

    Yeh Kim they're squeaky clean, LOL ... just far too darn scratchy for me


    ... Ok, gals what do you think should i have a go at 1/2 cup of vinegar ONLY for now in the washing cycle (OR the rinse cycle ?? ) no washing powder nor washing liquid ...

    I put it in the softener dispenser so it only goes in the rinse cycle. Half a cup should be plenty. I use about that on a full load. With towels & sheets I usually only use vinegar, I don't worry about powder. I use bicarb only for my mcn's, sometimes not even that & I usually use powders just for clothes, but only half the recommended amount unless its DH's filthy dirty work clothes.

    Vinegar is great for whites too. Brightens the white up. (FYI - Also the best cleaner for the calcium in your kettle!!)

    i use my normal powder and then fill my softner section to the line.. its probably 1/3 cup
