    That's it. Knowing men, they just dump it ALL in together. eeeeeeeeeeeekkkk. I'd have a heart attack.

    Saying that though i little one) own one white garment and i hand wash it. it's just too hazardous a colour for me to wear

    Have you tried the hotter washes?
    No, do you think that would help?
    Doudou I have been using Surf liquid and Napisan OxyAction (in the pink tub) in almost every wash.
    I'll see how today's wash came out. Maybe cleaning the filter thingy helped a bit.

    Pixie, I'm going to try the hotter washes for a bit, my DH *always* uses the coldest wash and it sounds like you do too. It's worth experimenting IMO. After I posted here I had a bit of a read online and the hot washes seem to get a better performance, given that you're using a lot less water to get the job done than in a top loader.

    Turn the hot water tap off. It was the only way to fix it for us. Then just do a few washes with napisan liquid and you'll find your whites back to normal.

    Thanks Rouge! I think I'll try that first, since I wasn't having a problem with cold washes in the other machine.
    I'll let you know if it works!
