We brought it from a friend ages ago... would have to look up a manufacturer.
I doubt it has a protective coating on it![]()
I probably should just pay to get it cleaned properly... who knows what other crap is on it... wine/vomit/milk...

We got ours professionaly cleaned, and that didnt get it all off, but my darling child used permanent marker, not biro.
I have successfully gotten biro off the faux suede couch using windex and a sponge.
What colour is your couch? Ours is chocolate (the one the biro got one - the texta was on cream) but all the biro came off.
If you are hesitant to use windex cos of the blue colour - I know I was - and you have throw cushions you could try it out on those frst, or on the back of the couch in a small part that no one will see.
Ordinary pen on leather comes off with alcohol, which would be why windex works. We used metho and a lot of gentle rubbing on our last biro art masterpiece on our red leather couch. Nothing else we had in the house made even a slight impact on the pen. Grrr toddlers.
Try a baby wipe. I swear those things will clean anything! A friend & I use them on our lounges. Can't think, but I'm sure I got pen off before.
if a baby wipe doesnt get it off, try a WD40 pien, worked a treat on a pen drawing on our microsuede couch!
I had this problem yesterday. Black permanent marker on a macro suede lounge
It came out with hairspray on cotton tips dabbed at the stainIt did take about 45 minutes for it all to come off and then I had to use baby wipes to get the hairspray off the lounge but my sofa is saved
