House cleaning

My gf mum charges $17 per hour and she does as much as she can fit in for approx. 3 hours.

My cleaner charges $45 for 3 hours. This includes travel for her as I live on a farm. She does a fairly good job. Although sometimes I think I need to be a bit more clearer in what I want.

Cheers everyone!! I guess I will need to jump in there and see how long it takes me and then think of how much it really is.
I see the work being really easy cause my sisters house is reasonably tidy so it shouldnt be too hard work during this pregnancy. Plus I've been blessed with an easy pregnancy!

I bet it will never happen, by the time my sis has time to call me and says 'yes come now' I'll be having my baby!

I wouldn't say too much time on your hands V - after all, you're running around after a little one and helping in your DH's business. But I do get the wanting pocket money thing.

For me I'm still working full time and since have been pregnant come home absolutely exhausted every night - it's all I can do to cook dinner so we eat properly let alone worry about housework other than on weekends...

Though funny I notice we're due only 2 days apart

My ex boss charged $33 an hour in Melbourne but she could really ask for that, she did a freaking fantastic job! Every client she stopped cleaning for would be replaced by 3 more. Business was good. She assessed per hour rather than per house. Clients supplied own cleaning products, vacuum cleaner. We supplied mop and rags unless the client wanted it steam mopped then we asked them to supply that. If your sister uses enjo then you wouldn't have to worry about rags.
