I've offered to help my sister with her house cleaning cause I don't work and she is busy with work etc. I'm not sure really why I offered - maybe I'm just too nice?!! Also I wouldn't mind a bit of pocket money
Anyway we were talking bout a price for the work and I'm not sure what I should be asking for so was hoping someone may be using a house cleaner or has info on how much they charge. Do they charge per hour or per house?
My sister has a 4x2 cottage block house. She uses enjo so no nasty chemicals. I would be cleaning bathrooms, loo's, kitchen, vacuuming, dusting and mopping. I could also do a few loads of washing for her while I'm there....
We pay our cleaner $30 an hour and she spends 3 hours cleaning our 4x2 each week. She's sometimes here for longer so we just pay her a bit more if need be. We supply all the cleaning products and she does an AMAZING job. Our house is spotless and sparkles after her visit - I love it!
You're a damn good sister offering to do that, especially while you're pregnant! It's hard work so I hope you're ok doing it. Be careful hon!
My cleaner charges $45 for 3 hours. This includes travel for her as I live on a farm. She does a fairly good job. Although sometimes I think I need to be a bit more clearer in what I want.
Cheers everyone!! I guess I will need to jump in there and see how long it takes me and then think of how much it really is.
I see the work being really easy cause my sisters house is reasonably tidy so it shouldnt be too hard work during this pregnancy. Plus I've been blessed with an easy pregnancy!
