oh ok didn't know they poo everywhere- thats a bit yuck!

Not sure how you'd get rid of them- sticky tape around doors and windows with the sticky bit outwards and then they get suck?? haha I have no idea!

Surely the benefits outway the cons?

But to answer the question, maybe try to eliminate their prey and they may not be so attracted to inside the house.

agreed im a bit over yucked out by them
I was bitten by a blue tounge lizzard as a child and it latched on to ankle and would not let go as a child. did not hurt but soooooo grose and scary for a young girl.

and the poop sticks to the walls its grose and yucky and i hate it on my photo's.

I had no idea they were a problem until we went to QLD earlier this year. I woke up one morning to find one on the bedroom wall. I freaked out becuase I'd never seen one before! They are so cute though.

Send them to me because next door (joined unit) has roaches and the babies keep coming into our kitchen?

This is something my dad does best, getting rid of gheckos! My parents have had to replace 2 split system air cons because of them. So certiainly not cheap. Each night my dad goes around the exterior of the house and sprays dettol on them, and around the doors so they can't come in. It seems to be working as he hasn't seen any for quite a few months now.

i'm on the anti-gecko side too - but only the Asian ones. I can cope with the native ones but the Asian ones are sooo noisy and are a pest.

try going out the back door and having them above ya head and falling down on ya.

Send them to me because next door (joined unit) has roaches and the babies keep coming into our kitchen?
    oh thats not nice

Send them to me. I love chi-chas. They're such helpful little guys, I love watching them munching up all the insects in summer. They're just about the only thing I miss about the tropics.
i would happily give them ALL to YOU!!!

ones? say what what do they look like?

but yes I had to do a poo clean up in the mornings.
    exactly!!!!

You could try getting some door sealing adhesive tape too because they could get through quite a small gap and the foam will help.
because this house is so old and dodgie nothing lines up and that made the door not shut right. cant win

Dont want to kill them just deter them.
