How to get burnt rice from the bottom of pots?

if it is still stuck after all the soaking ect, try boil some water in it, and when the water starts boiling, use a spatula or something and scrape the bottom? helps here, if you scrub as soon as youve done this (use gloves cos its freakin hot!) it should help? use to work for me.. id also try get him to use his "big man muscles"!
