    ...Kathryn.

Maybe I am weird but I love standing outside folding the washing as I take it off of the line and put it into the basket, I think it is nice quiet time out. (and if Matilda is awake she loves to sit in the pram outside and watch) Hmm...

Somehow my nappies dried today in this cold weather, must of been the wind.

    3 - not counting the cane one that's the toy-putting-away and house-tidying basket !

One for wet clothes waiting to be pegged, one for dry clothes, and one for clothes which have been folded but not put away since I fold at night when the kidlets are sleeping.

3 for dirty clothes, 2 for clean washing

Dirty ones are Colours, Darks and Whites

Clean ones are wet and waiting for folding.

Ali I think thats what I want - Im sick of having to tip the dirty washing on the floor, or put 2 diff loads in one basket, so that I can use the baskets for hanging the wet stuff out.

Currently I have 4. One for wet washing, one with folded clean washing, one for ironing and a floater.

I like to fold my clothes as they come off the line so my new system will include 3 new boxes/baskets one for each child. This way I can fold and sort at the same time...assuming I get the time

Lol only one here... we have a big plastic bin (like, a huge one, bigger than a 44-gallon drum) in the bathroom for dirty clothes, and then I just use a cane basket to get each load of washing from laundry to clothesline and back.
We do have another plastic washing basket, but it's in the laundry stuffed full of junk and hasn't been touched in months so I don't use it and therefore don't count it as existing lol

I had 2 and but 1 of them had to be thrown out because the kids jumped on it...I went a few months with just 1 and it was a nightmare I now have 2 again but also think perhaps 1 more would be helpful...or though if i put the washing away straight away rather then leaving in the baskets for a few days I am sure i could cope with what i have

We have 5 washing baskets. A hamper for our clothes (DP, DS1 and mine) and another hamper for DS2's clothes and stuff since his stuff gets washed seperately.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with a lot of washing baskets. Lolll.
