My house smells so lovely now, ive gone mental and disinfected everything. The bench tops and the sink. Now to mop the floor. Then start on the bedroom, bathroom, toilet and spare room... *sigh*

3 weeks in the fridge , not too bad i guess , tons on ppl tons of time leave things in the fridge , they then get hidden , outta sight outta mind eh?

we had a hiding potato in the pantry once ,sat in there in the dark hiding away , and it was putrid .. the smell was soooooo rank and no one ate food from the pantry as we knew a smell was in there but didnt know where it was coming from ..... then one day i stuck my hand in a liquid mush and there it was it was sooooo foul. and from then on i am soooo OCD about my fridge and pantry and i get paranoid about buying potatoes too !

Yes now im going to be very cautious about these things. I think i will have to get in the habit of doing the dishes straight after dinner so we never have this issue again but we are good with our fridge and pantry we do a clean out every fortnight whatever looks old or smells we throw just this curry looked like too much effort i suppose to both of us but i def deserve some chocolate now for tackling it

You could try coaxing it out with small piece of bread or maybe a scrap of meat, if that fails it could be a vegetarian, in this case try an Apple or even a banana.

    Failling that, try animal control.
