Hi.

It's been very very humid here in WA and we have struggled with the heat over the past 2 weeks (with temps around 45 degrees!)

We are lucky that the temp has dropped down a few notches now, but for the past 2 days we have experienced wet slippery tiles around the house. And no amount of opening up the windows or doors are proving any help. We have an evaporative air con and its doing an awesome job in regards to the heat, but how can we stop our floors getting so slippery?

I'm constantly roaming around the house with a towel but in a matter of minutes after its been dried, its wet again.

I think the bit that really bothers me is the fact we have a rug that loses its synthetic fibres (no matter how much I vac!) and they are found all around the house at the minute and the house looks really dirty.

What do I do? How can I make it less slippery and how can I keep it looking clean when its humid? I'm too scared to use the vac as my last one blew up due to moisture getting in the motor from the same thing last year!
