My house is never completely spotless, even when come visitors over there are clothes thrown into the walk in robe or things hidden in the spare room haha. I try and keep on top of the kitchen and living room each day but apart from that I don't really have a certain routine. Things get cleaned when they start looking a bit messy. There just isn't enough time in the day and I'd much rather spend my spare time with DS and DH than stress over an untidy house!
