    Yep washing powder works too. That was what I used to use...

    And I'm not all that insightful... da Turk was the one who suggested Napisan to me... and it comes off quicker I think!

    bi-carb also works great if you don't have napisan.

    Does this also work with the trays that actually sit in the oven? You know the racks that your dish sits on?

    It works PERFECTLY for them If they don't fit in your laundry trough then put them in your bath.

    I forgot to mention, if you have any rust spots on anything NEVER use napisan. Washing powder is better, as napisan will make things RUST quicker if there is rust already. So if in doubt use washing powder that doesn't contain bleach.
