rofl FJ!!! I was thinking the same thing.... given that it was Maz asking and all!Wacking? Cast iron all the way!
I was given a Scanpan... rubbish!!!! Yes you can have all the good intentions in the world when it comes to not using sprays and only using plastic cooking tools etc... but make sure your DH doesn't use it or your MIL or anyone else (unreasonable)... mine only lasted about 2 weeks before sustaining a scratch from when my mother came to stay.
I'm with Teagz, I've had so many so called 'non stick' pans, but my woollies essential range is the BEST! My only complaint, if I were forced to make one, is that its not flat bottomed, its slightly raised in the centre, so its no good for pancakes or crepes. But brilliant for everything else, costs less than $10 and worth 10 times that much!
a bit of both
Nah I want to be able to fry up an egg, steak, chicken ect without having to use oil *blerg* and without having it stick to the frying pan and go mushy.
Ive heard that Cai about the oil thing...and that teflon can make you mighty sick if consumed
Thanks so much girls...ithink I mikght have a big banger cast iron on in my camping stuff out in the shed....somewere
