Just after some advice,

We have a Bosch washing machine which cost $800, it is 5 years old. The seal has just broken, piece come away so water pouring out. This is going to cost $300 to repair. I'm not sure if we should fix it, or for $500 more we could buy a new one. My machine has seen a lot of use, at least twice a day for the past 3 years. They're a good brand, though I'm not sure of their lifespan, does any one else have a Bosch? if so how long has yours lasted? I'd be loathe to replace the seal, and then in a year it has a mechanical issue, because it has been used so much.

What would you do?
