Scanpan lifetime warranty. Anyone claimed it?

We went away for the week leaving DD1 and DS at home alone. They put my scanpan frying pan in the dishwasher it is now wrecked. I've just checked the warranty and found it is dishwasher safe so it shouldn't have happened. The surface of the pan was starting to bubble on one side anyway. I bought it from Myer, someone told me that they will replace them under the lifetime warranty which would save me the hassle of posting it off and waiting for a reply so I was planning go go that way. I'm a bit lazy, have been meaning to do it for a couple of months but haven't got around to it but now that I'm unable to use the pan I figured I'd better get a move on and do it BUT I don't have a receipt. I bought it from Myer online and wasn't given a paper receipt, the email one is long gone and my bank statement is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Ok, so after all that, does anyone know whether I'll need the receipt to have it replaced that way?

You don't need a receipt. It should be fine.

I don't know how scanpan has a lifetime warranty. Both my pans peeled.

Yes! We replaced one a few weeks ago. We emailed them a picture, they asked us to return it - they gave us a replied paid address we just had to buy a tough bag. 3 days later we had a brand new frypan waiting on our doorstep for us. No receipt. No paperwork. I was really impressed!
