They are good about doing refunds around here. Take it back.
I went & spent $70 on a vacuum at crazy clarks yesterday.
Sounds so silly, but can I take it back simply coz its cheap & crappy??
So not happy that I bought it. I really shoulda thought about it & gone the extra distance to betta electrical to see what they had cheap
The suck is crap, the plastic feels nasty, the pipes are too narrow... I should shut up & suffer the consequences of my silly, silly actions
For the record... unless you have no choice, DON'T buy a vac from crazy clarks! I know, you'd think that'd be common sence, huh...

Yeah, I'd give it a go too. You buy a product because you think it will do the job it says....
Will talk to DH tonight. There's a Vax at Betta for $150. We've already paid half, lol.
Would LOVE a Dyson, but DH would never agree!! Already jokingly said it to him & got shot down!
Try to convince him on the Dyson - we got one for about $600 (so yes, very pricey) but that was 4 years ago and its still going strong. They are definitely worth the money.
Hey CLover I recently replaced my dyson (and I was a diehard fan). It was 8 years old. I replaced it with an Electrolux (just the base model) and it poos all over the dyson for features and suck. Was only $399 too. Bet you could get it cheaper in the sales.
I agree with Kim. I have an Electrolux and it's awesome! Heaps better than my friends Dyson.. Even she agreed!
Actually MIL has an electrolux. Had the first one for 13 years before it died & replaced it with one pretty much exactly the same.
Mum & dad are on their second Vax after having the first for about 10 years..
My last one was a Tiffany I got from a hardware shop. Its actually a good vac (suction was better than the vax IMO), but its just falling apart!
The bit that attatched the head to the first pipe snapped within 2 weeks, so I'm having to re tape it every 2 - 3 weeks, the cover bit to make it look nice fell off not long after. The extender bit stopped clicking, so is held open with tape, the little valve thing at the handle falls out all the time, the filter cover falls off, the cord extender doesn't lock the cord out anymore... lol I could go on!
I've had it about 3 years, so for a cheap one, it's done pretty good
The vac itself still works great, but I can't afford the bloody electrical tape to keep up with it!!
& I have issues with touching the bags..I want a bagless...
Just got a Dyson today $380 from Clive Peters if that's any help...think they are normally $680 ish.
