Surely this is a hint i hate doing the washing...

Ok so i am not the greatest with housework but maybe you could try a few things to either remember the washing or work out a better system?

1. Ask Mr I Need Some Clothes to do washing 1 day a week
2. Have set days for washing?
3. Buy a timer - set it for a little longer than a load takes, pop it in a central room so you can hear it and it reminds you to hang the washing out.
4. Remind yourself how expensive replacing ruined clothes can be - i left something in the wash once just overnight and it was ruined, no matter how much i washed it and i felt horrid.. now even though i sometimes forget i try to remember to atleast open the lid etc when a load is finished or put it in the basket to go out.

I used to love my 9kg washer, once uve broken yours look on gumtree or something we got ours for $400

My learning to love washing solutions are:
Hang whatever you can directly onto coat hangers, if you hang them right they dont need folding or ironing. We have a rack inside for this.
Get 3 or 4 washing baskets. You can fold sitting on the couch, I make piles directly into the baskets and put them away while the LO is asleep.

And if you really hate it, get a dryer and do your towels (it preserves the fluff) and all the small things like undies and singlets and little clothes, as these are the fiddly time consuming ones. If you sort your washes right you can get away with only doing a couple of these a week. Our dryer has a moisture sensor so it Saves electricity & doesn't bake anything to a crisp.

Im lazy i dont fold i just sort an due to the boys breaking theyre drawers ds7 has a giant transformer material shopping back and ds4 has a wicker chest type thing so thats pretty easy

I actually don't mind washing and hanging it out. It's the folding and putting away that gets me. I haaaaaaaaaaaaate folding.

I don't mind washing, hanging out or folding big things. But I hate matching socks and by the time I have finished I can never be bothered to put it away. Not so bad now the kids are older, they put their own washing away

Hanging out washing will be the death of me! I hate it! I normally wash in the mornings abd half the time DH will get home from work and it will still be in the machine... That being said DH washes his own clothes generally..
